    🎉What a thrill to see this performed! I have the album, it’s classic! But it’s exciting and instructive to see great music played live! Great writing, great musicians, great video!🎉

    • @ushnicyuvnikof2748
      @ushnicyuvnikof2748 ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a Moollon but you could pick up an MIJ Fender from the Fujigen factory 80s to mid 90s for 1/4th the price and it be just as well crafted an instrument, even better than most MIA. A good P is a good P, always play before you buy.

      My first bass was a Squier P Bass. (30 years ago) I traded it for a passive dual pickup Alvarez then moved on to an active Peavey dual pickup. A few years ago I got into Fender Jazz basses and now I'm itching for a P Bass. Does it ever end?!?! haha.

    1stly P bass is the best bass - Leo Fender got it rite the 1st time. 2ndly people saying "it's not that dirty" have no clue, please stop, dirty in regards to guitar among guitarists is overdrive or an overdriven amp and this is what it sounds like (the title didn't say fuzz into fuzz into fuzz into phaser into cocked wah), stop trying to be so smart your silly and just enjoy.

    And I can recommend the little Ampeg bass amp and cabinet. I got two of those 2x10's and the little stack sounds real tight and Ampeggy. Every soundtech loves this one. You won't break your back and your back with this one! In combination with a P it rocks and Souls! :-D

      Huh?

    • @The_sinner_Jim_Whitney
      @The_sinner_Jim_Whitney 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the modern music I hear played on P-basses sounds (to me, obviously I'm not the norm) like schite, it's like they go out of their way to make their P sound less like a P and it winds up sounding to me like either a cheapo toy bass or a fire-breathing sasquatch bellowing on steroids while farting through an alphorn (way too hot and mid-heavy, in other words- like a natural P tone boosted all to hell). This is a pretty damn good P-bass tone. Sounds like what it is, not too much of it, and raw and a little bit gnarly. I like it. Sounds a fair bit like my Warmoth Jazz basses (fretted with a 1988 Japanese Fender Jazz Bass Special neck, fretless with a defretted 1985 of same model. Don't get all bass justice warrior- the bodies and electronics were pretty shoddy on both of the ones I bought since I just bought them for the necks) with EMG GZR-P pickups. Growly and fat, I like it. I have one of those Ampeg Micro-VR rigs for my passive basses, I guess that makes sense. I play my Ernie Ball Music Man Sterling H and HS (fretted and fretless, respectively) through A Gallien Krueger MB210-II.

      Plus bassy listens to Pino. He even does the signature Pino head-thing that Pino does so stylishly.

    That guy could pass for my twin. And ironically we both anchor our thumbs on the p bass pickup when we play. Lol.

    Has this genre been named groove porn yet? Because that’s what it is. It’s almost as if someone set out to disprove the notion that groove is the most important thing in music. I’m a lapsed drummer and a wannabe bass player and I love grooves, but I think I still like songs more. Nice p bass tone anyway.
