My ranger is almost completely stock except for a Flow Master 40 series muffler and exhaust tip, and a Hurst short throw shifter.

Was the muffler “bolt on” or did y’all have it welded?
I welded it on (it's stronger and won't fall off) but you can get exhaust clamps and bolt it on
You could just put 4 eclipse 12s double stack them trust me that's plenty of bass for the ranger all you got to do is take out the jump seats
How is the drone at cruising speeds with that muffler
Not too bad, but I am a lot more used to it now lol
@@ClayRepairs ok thanks I wanted to do this same setup on my Ranger, last thing I want is to be cruising on street/highway and the sound is annoying and constant
4.0 i just cut the muffler off, is that fine?
I think so. Just as long as you kept the catalytic converters and oxygen sensors, you should be fine
Did you just cut it off or did you have to weld a straight pipe on?
In these parts, we call that the "Southern Oregon Performance Exhaust"!
How many converters does your ranger have? Thinking about doing the same thing.
How big is that muffler
Like 3" shorter than stock, but a whole lot louder 😂
