i will again recommended caerphilly castle that is just north of Cardiff it's way bigger than Swansea castle and in much better condition there are amazing views of the entire valley from the top of the castle. I think you would love it
hi guys loving your uk adventures.. if you haven't yet try some welsh cakes. also the brecon beacons and black mountains are about an hour north of you(it's where i live ) and they are totally stunning and full of history.. lots of castles like raglan and white.. the seat of the industrial revolution...
Swansea was heavily bombed during the Blitz and there was widespread destruction. Hence the bizarre mix of some old buildings and mostly post WWII buildings.
5:00 Swansea is such a mix of new and old buildings because it was bombed heavily during WWII as this is where most of the munitions factories were, a lot of the "newer" buildings were built in the 50s and 60s, but there is major redevelopment happening currently also.
Too many people says food in Great Britain is almost a disgrace but you're showing food that looks so good and we can know the taste does too. I'm very excited about Wales, greetings and great castle view in the middle of the city!
Wales is amazing. Esp. the North, which has esp. beautiful mountains. You can even take miniature train up the highest one. Tons of castles and history throughout all of wales. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-37754756
Lots of Americans in Swansea these days. Hope you enjoyed your stay. The South Wales Coastline is renowned for it's beauty and it's right on my doorstep.
Hey!! It’s so cool that you cane to Swansea, if you were ever thinking about coming again the Gower and mumbles area is the place you really want to be visiting. It has THE BEST views!! If you were impressed by the city centre (which after visiting there hundreds of times gets a bit dull) you will be blown away by mumbles and Gower!! 😁
Welcome to Wales!!!! So pleased you have stopped by in my home Cardiff, and hometown Swansea. You guys are the best travellers, so sweet, conscientious and enthusiastic. I hope Wales does not disppoint 😊. Looking forward to following your next trips.
If you are still in Swansea, do try the vanilla ice cream at Joe's in Mumbles. Its made to a recipe that's been passed down the generations of the family. It is quite by far the best ice cream ever. Do check it out! Loving the vlogs and I'm very happy that you've visited my home country.
yeah wales! we spent a weekend there back in May...stayed in Pembrokeshire. and we brought our corgi with us so he could visit his ancestral home. we really liked it there :D
I am always impressed by two things. What you're willing to eat, and that even when you're starving you remember to film the food. We so have to get better at that. Just this morning I was trying to film what I was cooking at camp, got distracted by a tourist asking us questions about our trip and then once that guy left we scarfed. I totally forgot to film the completion of the meal I had cooked, but we do it at the restaurants too.
Next time you guys are in Wales, go to Oxwich Bay, not far from Swansea. OMG. It is a bit scary to drive down to. Tiny lanes and vertiginous but it is WELL worth it. Beautiful
Hi Allison & Eric, Thailand will be great experience. Their food and hospitality is awesome. We are visiting Thailand every year for 14 years now. I recommend Ko Samui and Phuket. Safe travels🌷
nice to see you enjoying swansea my home city you should try a joes ice cream its the best in wales 85 St Helen's Rd, Swansea SA1 4BQ keep up the good work
Love seeing this channel progress, been subscribed about 6 months, after seeing one of your Dublin videos-my home city. Truly great Channel. Definitely will hit 100k in 6 months and 1 million within 2 years!!! 100%! Love you guys and love the food
Worlds fastest zip line? Europes longest zip line? Worlds deepest zip line? Worlds largest man made wave machine surfing lagoon? Mountain biking? Huge trampolines inside massive caves? Trek to the top of a mountain the lazy way by train? Sure, head to north Wales. Lol.
A fun itinerary for Swansea/Gower if you visit again- Visit Worm’s head / rhossili, maybe go surfing! Walk at Three Cliffs/Oxwich bay (Otherwise you could take a coast adventure boat from Oxwich to see all the beaches and worm’s head from the sea instead) Go to Mumbles and have Ice-cream at Joe’s, food at Verdi’s and check out Oystermouth castle Stay over somewhere cute then head up to the Brecon Beacons and/or walk around the waterfalls at Pontneddfechan (you can go behind some of them which is fun!)
I am a grandmother in the states I would luv to go to England but I do not have the money unfortunately I’m on a fixed income that is why I wake up every morning including weekends to watch you both.ThankYou for making videos.xoxo
This isn't England - it's Wales. England and Britian isn't the same thing, England is just 1 of the 4 constituent countries of the UK and the 3 that comprises Britain. The other two being Wales and Scotland. And don't say it's the same thing as it isn't. The Welsh have their own language, National Anthem, National Flag, Cuisine, Patron Saints, Institutions, Festivals etc.
We in the UK tend to take for granted all the great mega old architecture we have around us. I myself have a partially ruined cathedral from the 1300's literally next door to me which is a fairly big tourist attraction. Its something you don't think of, but USA doesn't really have such things and I get reminded about being lucky in this regard everytime I see a yank friend or see a video such as this. Couple miles west and you will see vastly different terrain, that is also where the stones supposedly came from for Stonehenge.
Watch a video about Wales but got an advert about Norwich... also i am so glad you called it Costa Coffee and not Coaster Coffee like most people from USA do.
Stephen Hitchens What's wrong with Norwich (England) with is Norman castle and cathedral with the 2nd highest steeple in the U.K. and the oldest out door market in the U.K. And close to some of the best beeches in Britain 😉
knowing your penchant for walking, i strongly recommend you head north to the valleys of Wales, anything near Snowdonia national park or the tiny but very pretty hamlet of Dolgellau (pronounced doll-geth-lei) where I spent part of my childhood at my Aunts Bed & Breakfast.
Its a pity as you were in Swansea that you missed Oystermouth castle... which is 10 minutes further along the sea front and a lot more intact! Swansea was hit very hard during the Second world war because of the local industry and a lot of the historic buildings were destroyed.. And Swansea council has neglected the rest!!! I still would recommend the Gower Peninsular Rhosilli beach and Three Cliffs bay if you have time...Bx
I've wrote things in the comments on other videos on things you should do and every time I carry on watching your videos, I see that you've already probably done it.
Oh you need to get a Gin and Tonic on the go. 50ml Gordon's Gin, 220ml Tonic water, cubed ice, 2 sliced of lime, a slice of orange squeezed over the ice and a twirl of lemon peel.
Thank you for your lovely vlog in my home town, there is so much more to explore! Come back another time :) the meridian tower has the best views but no where near the best food in Swansea :p
You missed the jewel in the crown of Swansea which was a few yards away from where you parked - Swansea market. The biggest indoor market in Wales and has the best welsh cakes, seafood, Japanese food, Greek food, Thai food, Man you missed out, and went up that expensive tower instead.
You guys should have gone to The Mumbles just up the coast from Swansea ,if you were impressed by Normandy beaches you would have been blown away by these Welsh beaches
You guys should come to Kent we have some great places to visit the white cliffs of Dover, Sheppard Neame Britains oldest brewer, Leeds castle, Canterbury cathedral, Hever castle and gardens and many more and great food.
Did you travel to Yorkshire? Humber bridge Hull, get fish and chips in Hull and grab a pattie, travel to York and check out the shambles? There's a gorgeous ice cream shop in York "The Luxury Ice Cream Company"
Next time you visit you could venture a bit north and visit Herefordshire a lot of history love Swansea though and I agree the Gower peninsula is awesome place to explore in future .
You've probably left Cardiff by the time I write this but if you get the chance to come back then definitely do the Doctor Who experience and step onto the actual sets used in the show including The TARDIS. Well worth the visit.
I've been following you guys for a while now, and it's nice you've visited my home town of Swansea 😊 I moved away 25 years ago, so it was nice to see the old place. FYI... Amazingly, when I was a kid, the castle had buildings in front of it, and was completely hidden until they were demolished in the 1980's....
So good to see you guys back in the UK!! If you doing another English food video you must include Lincolnshire sausages. There are some great butchers in Lincoln to try some.
I live in Cardiff and at the beginning the roundabout that you could see briefly I call it the magic roundabout because in the middle of it there's a giant sphere made of road signs
It's really nice to see you guys come over here and enjoy yourselfs. Can I say if your over again try Cambridge or Bath or the North East of England and may be team up with the guys from What's good London they can show you some real good places in the smoke (slang for London)
I like that you got wet about an 11c castle but Cardiff castle started in 4 AD - and I recommended bit out west in the Swansea area and a bit more more North.
I wondered if Allison and Eric could drive as Nikita has been behind the wheel all through Cornwall. I guess driving on the wrong side of the road (for them) isn't easy. I'm looking forward to more Welsh vlogs :-)
Chicken ,fish and sausage ! good option ! Pristine ! Don't you have rice and bean either ? It is other culture of feeding ,so interesting ! Sorry to ask about rice and bean , I am Brazilian and they are our typical food ! Thanks for the presentation !
Aye, I've eaten on the 27th floor. Also played a track I made on the sound system on the 27th floor (Bose Freespace Acoustimass in-ceiling with Cloud amplification)
I'm currently in Vietnam on honeymoon. If you stop by Saigon when going through Southeast Asia, you should check out BiaCraft and/or Pasteur Street Brewing Co. Both make some great beers (Pasteur Street only sell their own, BiaCraft sell all the local craft beer)
If you're going back to Budapest you should explore more of Eastern Europe - would massively recommend exploring Romania by car. Dracula's castle (Poenari) and all! :)

+poida we actually left at 2pm after waking at 7:30am and working all morning. If you think we don't work full time you are mistaken 😂
Someone is jealous
Next time you get to Swansea, head to Rhosilli and the worms head. Best view in South Wales
Richard Hayden try caswell bay even better
Not sure I've ever heard Swansea and picturesque uttered in the same sentence before.
Hah yeah we definitely get that now 😂 But still, not a bad town! Glad we were able to visit 👌
Swansea was heavily bombed during the Blitz and there was widespread destruction. Hence the bizarre mix of some old buildings and mostly post WWII buildings.
There are a few angles it does look good from with the specific weather.
The heroin does not help either
The Endless Adventure you gotta go to gowrr
5:00 Swansea is such a mix of new and old buildings because it was bombed heavily during WWII as this is where most of the munitions factories were, a lot of the "newer" buildings were built in the 50s and 60s, but there is major redevelopment happening currently also.
A lot of pictures in pubs, resturants and such. It was completely levelled in some places. Amazing how they bounced back really.
Too many people says food in Great Britain is almost a disgrace but you're showing food that looks so good and we can know the taste does too. I'm very excited about Wales, greetings and great castle view in the middle of the city!
Happy to show it off, we actually like the food quite a bit!
Ingrid Alcazar well that's an outdated view anyway and a bit of a stereotype.
Wales is amazing. Esp. the North, which has esp. beautiful mountains. You can even take miniature train up the highest one. Tons of castles and history throughout all of wales. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-37754756

Honestly it took us a while to get that down 😂 we always used to forget to take photos and get close ups!
Mate, your Mrs is stunning! 😍😍😍 You're so lucky! 👍🏻
so good to see you like a drink....so many travel shows feel totally staged..it great to see real people, enjoy a meal, and a drink.....
Well at least y'all got a day without rain! Thank you for sharing!
It’s mad watching a vlog about someone visiting somewhere u go all the time and live in like wow 😮
There is something surreal about it.
Next time you guys are in Wales, go to Oxwich Bay, not far from Swansea. OMG. It is a bit scary to drive down to. Tiny lanes and vertiginous but it is WELL worth it. Beautiful
Glad to see you're enjoying your mini tour of the UK. No idea how long you have left, but we've got plenty more to see and do along our coastline.
Omg you came to Swansea 😍😍
We did :D
I'm absolutely gutted you guys didn't visit Rhosilli in Gower, Swansea. It's so beautiful. Looks like you had great fun!
Whoa...looking at those pictures we're pretty gutted too...
The Endless Adventure oh well hopefully they'll be a next time. Keep up the good work! Love your channel

They have a Joes in Wellfield Road, Cardiff too. :)
Do they deliver ???
No, they don't do liver. Only cornets' choc ices and lolly ices.
Love seeing this channel progress, been subscribed about 6 months, after seeing one of your Dublin videos-my home city. Truly great Channel. Definitely will hit 100k in 6 months and 1 million within 2 years!!! 100%! Love you guys and love the food

It's nice to see someone enjoying Swansea
Are you really not visiting Snowdonia? It's number 4 on the Lonely Planet top 10 list of regions to visit.
+ccooperjones unfortunately we just couldn't make it work with our upcoming travel plans 😭 we'll get there soon though!
ccooperjones It is?
Worlds fastest zip line?
Europes longest zip line?
Worlds deepest zip line?
Worlds largest man made wave machine surfing lagoon?
Mountain biking?
Huge trampolines inside massive caves?
Trek to the top of a mountain the lazy way by train?
Sure, head to north Wales. Lol.
You went past my houseeeeeeeeOMG
Please go to Tenby and walk the Pembrokeshire coastline
Sadly we're only here for a couple days, but we'll definitely try and check it out next time!

The best beach in Swansea is on the Gower Peninsula, not far away. If you have a chance to see it, you won't regret it!
Great videos, adorable couple, you should have many many more views!
Hope you enjoyed your time in wales I’m from Swansea 😀👌👍
Hi! And a happy New year! Found your video by accident hope you are both well! I was one of the waiters in the tower!
You have the perfect wife! Love her personality..
You guys are eating all her fishes! The view was lovely. Your dinner you cooked looks great.

Absolutely LOVING the UK vlogs! Definitely making us want to visit there next.
+LeggLife we hope you do! We love it over here
It's certainly at the top of our list! We have enough air miles to make it happen, so i think it's going to!
You missed the jewel in the crown of Swansea which was a few yards away from where you parked - Swansea market. The biggest indoor market in Wales and has the best welsh cakes, seafood, Japanese food, Greek food, Thai food, Man you missed out, and went up that expensive tower instead.
You should of gone to the gower while u we're here, it's amazing
Everything is "super awesome or super insane" 🤣
Marloes beach in Pembrokeshire is among my favourite places and is my favourite place in Wales. Highly recommend, it's picturesque.
You guys should have gone to The Mumbles just up the coast from Swansea ,if you were impressed by Normandy beaches you would have been blown away by these Welsh beaches
Nicky L Yes their house is right next to her parents house at Mumbles
You guys should come to Kent we have some great places to visit the white cliffs of Dover, Sheppard Neame Britains oldest brewer, Leeds castle, Canterbury cathedral, Hever castle and gardens and many more and great food.

Did you travel to Yorkshire? Humber bridge Hull, get fish and chips in Hull and grab a pattie, travel to York and check out the shambles? There's a gorgeous ice cream shop in York "The Luxury Ice Cream Company"

Can't wait to see Amsterdam vloggg 🔥💕
The food you guys ate out looked good, but it was the homemade vegetable curry at the end that really got my mouth watering!
Really? That's so crazy!
im from swansea you should of gone around the gower coast its only like 15 min drive from where you was and has amazing views
Don't worry about the parking tickets....They never chase foreigners! Park where you want as long as it's safe of course!
So good to see you guys back in the UK!! If you doing another English food video you must include Lincolnshire sausages. There are some great butchers in Lincoln to try some.

That meal you both conjured up look pretty tasty.
I really wanted to check out the menu at that place, but when you find it on line- NO prices! Never a good sign!
You came to Swansea! (: Enjoyed the vlog - it's always interesting to see the city from a different viewpoint (:

I like that you got wet about an 11c castle but Cardiff castle started in 4 AD - and I recommended bit out west in the Swansea area and a bit more more North.
Cardiff castle was built late in the 11th century on top of a 3rd-century Roman fort.
That sausage mash looks lovely :)
It was great. Those cranberries really sealed the deal for me 😋
I live there I love it
Wales is sooo beautiful. Visit Pembrokeshire it's stunning and pretty much everything is cheap there too.
Your veggie curry looked so yummy!!👌 xx
Yayy Swansea home town
I wondered if Allison and Eric could drive as Nikita has been behind the wheel all through Cornwall. I guess driving on the wrong side of the road (for them) isn't easy. I'm looking forward to more Welsh vlogs :-)
You NEED to go to Snowdonia! Best views! :D
We will next time!

Thanks for the presentation !
Aye, I've eaten on the 27th floor. Also played a track I made on the sound system on the 27th floor (Bose Freespace Acoustimass in-ceiling with Cloud amplification)
The editing of this is spot on! Love it! 👌🏻
Thanks!
Wow Swansea looks pretty cool.
It's definitely not bad!
The Endless Adventure try living here it rains so much
It sucks
It's fucking terrible, you go to the town in the night everywhere you turn is some smackhead shooting up heroin behind some bins...
I love the grape and olive 😍😍, I live in Swansea and I love it
Couscous and Masala? Have you created a new fusion sensation?
Did you guys ever do the traditional Sunday Roast? Hope I didn't miss it☹️
Looks delicious
You guys done good...thanks!!!
Next time you come to Swansea take a little trip to pantycelyn
omg! since you're coming to Asia, you should probably make a stop at India as well.. loads of adventure awaits you guys!
The food you made looked lush 👍🏻
get up to big pit guys.have a mooch round the valleys.its all rather lovely and welsh.
Sadly we're already gone, but we're collecting all the recommendations for our next (and hopefully much longer) trip to Wales :)
You came to Swansea, we try our best to avoid it.
Dude there's a hair in that salad. Thought it was small one at first but on my 4k TV it's effing long!
