    to whoever is reading this remember that life is not as serious as we have been conditioned to make it seem. Nothing really matters in this existence besides being present, happy, and spreading kindness. Whatever it is that is stressing you out in this current moment, set it aside as you take a deep breath. Go for a walk and look up at the sky. See how endless this universe is and realize that we are here to just B E . Everything else that we stress out about has just been created by us humans. Our point in existence is to just be here, and be happy. Nothing else. Have an amazing day.

    Intuitive eating is such a journey, I find i go through periods where it's effortless and periods where I have to work harder at it, because the fluctuations of my body reveal things i've internalised each time. It's so worthwhile working through it

    I love that you always chat about healthy relationships with food and our bodies in every "what I eat" video ((: I learn something new or get reminded of wonderful ways to love myself better every time

    • @bonniepaora8664
      @bonniepaora8664 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree I think it's such an important and beautiful thing to do and I wish more people would have a chat at the end of their what they eat videos to do a little mental health or even just reality check and make it clear that there is no "right way to eat" and regardless of what you may see through the screen, the real world is a loooooooot wider and more varied. I think people these days are also ashamed to admit when they do eat junk food or microwave meals because there's this hierarchy of what I eat videos where all the popular ones are vegan or healthy or home cooked every single meal or just generally these are what these TH-camRS eat in a day, people who realistically can stay home and cook their meals or can afford to buy the healthiest and most organic produce or can afford to post mate the healthiest meals from their favourite five star restaurant every day. Like most of us are grocery shopping on some level of a budget and don't have the time or money to have three healthy home cooked meals a day and only eat home baked cookies two to three times a week. It's nice to see someone who yes generally tries to share healthy and vegan meals, but actually has a reality check at the end of each video and discusses not only the types of food they're eating or not eating and why, but also their personal relationship with food and how it is continuing to grow and change. People don't even acknowledge this stuff enough, let alone talk about it, so I totally agree and am always stoked to see Hitomi talk about it in her food related videos. I think it's very important and very respectable and responsible as an influencer

    I worked at a pizza pub and the vegan cheese they used was TEESE. It wasn’t the most stringy, but it melted pretty well! I always recommended adding on veggies that cook out water (tomatoes, bell peps, banana peps etc) with our vegan cheese because it can be kind of dry (if that makes since?) and “watery” veggies that make the pizza wet made it better lol. Love the food vids, so much inspo ✨✨

    The easiest way to cook rice
    - rinse your rice of choice (which removes the surface starch from the rice grains)
    - after filling your pan with water put your index finger in the water (on the surface of the rice). The water must come to the first crease of your finger
    - to prevent foaming, leave the lid open until the majority of the water has been soaked up/evaporated. Now you can cover the lid
    - check a few minutes later with a knife. If there isn’t any rice or excess water on the knife you have successfully made rice.
    ✨I hope this helped a bit✨

    Vegan cheese hack! I love Miyoko's mozzarella, but it is quite soft and hard to divide up on a pizza unless you want more of the traditional margherita style pizza. I'd recommend freezing it and then grating it frozen over a 'za before your bake; it's easier to handle and layer that way. It's tangy and relatively melty and super yummy!

    Hey hitomi! I just watched some of your vids where you mention your troubles in relationships and I wanted to let you know that it resonated with me very much. There is a theory about attachment trauma, if you look it up on the internet you will find a lot of beautiful information that can shine a light on why we feel how we feel in relationships and why it gives us such panic and the feeling we're gonna burst into million pieces. This information helped me so much to heal with the help of my wonderful boyfriend, to learn not to run away and to accept the love of someone else. I needed to be on my own before that and do my own work and after that heal with help because attachment trauma happens in intetaction so you can only heal it in interaction. Maybe you know all of this already but I just wanted to put it out there, this is my favorite psychological topic ever because I think this knowledge can change the world...

Secondly - I'm not sure how many trader joe's there are near you, but they have a new brand of vegan mozzarella shreds that are out of this world! I'm super picky about the vegan cheeses I buy since I think most of them have a weird aftertaste, but this one is honestly so delicious and tastes just like mozzarella!
