- t’s been a busy week and a half for Cooper Flagg, the 6-foot-8 talent who has the basketball world watching his every move.
He first hit the headlines in early August after a rumor swirled that he beat NBA all-star Bradley Beal during a 1-on-1 game at Jayson Tatum’s camp.
After the Brian Scalabrine-led buzz was laid to rest, it was back to business as usual for the arguably top prospect in the nation (regardless of class).
Until now.
Flagg has announced that he is reclassifying to the Class of 2024 from the ’25 group, which gives him a head start on the next chapter of his basketball career, including the professional ranks.
He is a monster. Plays both sides of the floor, 3 level scorer, and is fundamental. Going to be fun seeing his game and playmaking evolve. Kid does it all.
More than Ready for the Next Level
This kids defensive instincts are maybe the best I've ever seen from someone his age. It's incredible.
Agreed 💯 percent. And i think Cooper Flagg will be wanted by the nba like they just wanted Victor Wembanyama. Big time player. Cooper Flagg will be a 7 foot guard / wing / big , that's elite on offense and defense.
Cooper Flagg would be the #1 pick in the 2024 draft , Cooper Flagg is definitely gonna be the #1 pick in his 2025 nba draft.

I actually have some concerns. He doesn't have a tight handle and he isn't overly athletic, strong or fast. I think he might be rushing things.

Terrible decision for Flagg to reclass, it hasn't worked out well for most players and he needs to add weight to his frame.
Ok let’s compare the players who made that similar decision
@@TREzyGetPuzze Only big man that has reclassed and reached stardom was Karl Anthony Towns 9 years ago, and KAT had a much bigger frame than Cooper.

This comment won't age well. Playing against people he dominates so easily does nothing for his game at this point. You only get better playing against better and there isn't anyone better than him right now in high school.
