Had to remind myself of what Zion can do when he's in shape. He was so much leaner last year (still gargantuan) and could move so much better. He was a tweener 4 who played the 3 at times, but now he's so huge the pelicans play him at center. Zion needs to become this guy again for his game and his health. All that weight is terrible for his knees

He will have 40, 50, and possibly 60 point games in his first NBA season. I have never seen a man that big that can handle the ball as well as he does, nor have I seen a southpaw that is basically ambidextrous. His foot speed is stupefying, he plays well above the rim, and he seemingly cannot be stopped. He is an excellent defender/shot blocker, and that crossover of his is pure murder. I see many broken ankles caused by this fellow in the near future. This young man has talent that cannot be measured. I wait with bated breath to see how he takes (dominates) over the NBA during the course of 82 regular season games. He may take the Pelicans to the playoffs. Like Bruce Lee said, we shall soon see.

he's so graceful around the basket. like his touch is so soft. that's the part of his game that reminds me most of lebron. they are both just so incredibly smooth when finishing at the rim. hopefully he'll become half the playmaker that lebron is, but man he sure can finish like him around the rim.

Watching this now at a point where it’s pretty evident that Zion won’t likely ever become the player we thought he could have been is so amazing and upsetting. Had to remind myself that he really was THAT good, most exciting player I’ve ever watched; he just made everyone else look like children compared to him. Really wish he could have stayed this committed/ not lazy at the NBA level, I truly believe he could have been top 10 OAT had he =(

I've see some of the most explosive to do it . Dominique . Kemp . Mj . Vince . Kobe. Lebron. Blake etc . And something about this kid is on another planet . The explosion he has when he jumps it's like he blasts off the floor. His height isn't gunna mean shit because of his hops and the strength he has in his entire body . Hes solid beef from head to toe and hes gunna need it banging against the 7 footers in the league . Ppl keep bringing up the height of NBA players but he was abusing tacko fall like he wasn't even there. If he stays healthy and works on that jumper I see him as a career 20+ ppg kinda player easily and imo what sets him apart is his defense. Hes gunna be all NBA first team a handful of times and may even win dpoty a few times . Only one I've seen dunk like him really is Vince in terms of in game dunks. He doesn't have the overall dunk package Vince had but he has that tenacity and umph he had most definitely. In excited to see him play . I think him morant reddish barrett and a few others are gunna be all stars real soon

@DoubleFailMech Not sure what you're not understanding here. I'm taking out a game in which he didnt play. Stats are supposed to show what a player can do. This game Zion had 0 chance to do anything. The only thing that game does is pull down his stats and make him look like less than he actually is.

I'm a Duke fan, but Coach K's coaching was so lazy and unimaginative that season. I get that Zion's injury disrupted things. And I get that the roster had some flaws, but as the season went on it just became Barrett isos and Zion post-ups. He could have played Zion at center more to open things up. He could have run more sets. Not winning a title with a once-in-a-generation talent like that is just embarrassing.
