Yep, it can be a beast! I put it up in the tree I'm working on and lay it on the brach I'm going to cut. From then on, it's mostly a balancing act. I try to adjust the length of the pole so that the chainsaw blade is in position to cut with the bottom of the pole on the ground. stab the pole into something immovable and then "walk" the pole up alternately, stick it in the ground -a la -pole vaulter)--and walk it up@@workshopstudios43

You got that right you need to be strong to hold that up even without modification it's heavy to hold up an awkward
