Asmondgold used to be good in a sense where he knew the right ppl to help him get him all his gear. What's more f'd up is that Asmon is bad mouthing a community that actually made him famous , I guess after your done using the community you just tell them to f off.

I've checked his parses and from what they looked they seemed legit for the most part. Though in some of them there was probably some cheesing. And as Qwazar said, his best ones came from a time of minimal competition.

Asmon was never good at WoW and got carried in every MMO he played. Dude is a fraud.
The vast majority of his community could not care less about WoW, or even MMOs for that matter. Realize his most popular videos recently are about the news, politics and culture.
Nobody cares about WoW and that's a good thing. Asmongold is a way better content creator now that he doesn't focus only on games and WoW especially

I think he is still mad at the horde players who farmed him in 2019/2020. By the way that was after he made regular raids hunting down low level horde players in tanaris, un'goro crater etc and saying something like "This server is alliance only, we will put horde into zoos so you can visit them there".
But the reality was horde did not really care until honor system launched but then the hunt started and they hunted him down, especially a shadow priest called Advertise.
Asmongold even made such shit like telling his horde viewers to kill alliance players so he can have some power level spots for himself.
Fuck around and find out, that's what Asmongold did and instead of take it like a man he is crying about the "bad community in WoW".
By the way he also played for years only WoW. I remember when people talked about another game several years ago, he'd open twitch, look how much views the game has and if it was less than WoW he called the game bad, dogshit etc.

I knew from the getgo asmongold was a shill just in a different facet. It's expected from someone who never got his ass beat to learn any semblance of discipline. Night Media is his handler and tells him to defend people part of the influencer shills system they have going, with Piratesoftware just being another part of that "machine".
The problem with asmon saying a gamer girl can give you 2 stories of being harrassed in wow is, so can dudes, or anyone who plays games with others. Grow up, stop victimhood.
Couldn't disagree more with the "WoW community has the biggest degenerates". Compared to MOBA's and shooters, I've met the best people and had the most memeroable experiences in MMO's including WoW. In these games you actually have to build good connections in order to succeed in endgame content. I think it's just Tyler being only surrounded by streamers who are a bunch of narcissistic egomaniacs by default.
Tyler only played Classic WoW. So he only met those communities. Of absolutely hopeless degenerates who cannot pull their weight in retail WoW even with cheating addons like DBM and rotation bars.
The fact that they tryharding in a 20+ years old game with a 1-2 mechanics per raid boss... And failing....
All decent streamers and youtubers played classic when it came out for few months, a year max and left. Because that's what classic was for. To relive old memories and move on.
The only one who left are either degenerate streamers or genuine old wow lovers, who dont interact with such streamers.
Asmongold deliberately has takes that go against public opinion. It's a calculated move. What this means is that Asmongold does not have any real opinions on anything. He looks around, sees what everyone else is saying, and actively says the opposite because he knows controversy will bring the most views and thus, he will make more money.

They both seem to confuse their streaming audiences with "WoW community", when all they get is the crossover section between WoW and stream viewers. So a very special, filtered audience.
Streamers like Tyler or Asmon get what they have nurtured, they get reactions from ppl they have gathered around, or from other streamers and their similar audiences.
You can find plenty of chill ppl in WoW, but guess what - they are not streamers` viewers, because they are too chill for that stuff, and too busy playing game.
It is like going to reddit and then wondering "why this subreddit is so ghey" . Just don`t go to places, where dubious ppl gather. And don`t create communities consisting of ppl who will harass you when you play the game.
But then again, they also confuse legit complaints with harassment. Ninja looting is frowned upon not because ppl love to harass someone, but because it is extremely disruptive to community which is built on trust and comradery.
