My scat although very reliable and currently at 180,000 had a good amount of work done around 130,000. That will always be my concern, people just not taking care of these cars and you being stuck with a basket case.

But if u want all the features the newer ones got get a 2015+ if u dont mind back up cameras etc. 2011-2014 are nice n sleek interior kinda of dated. and 2008-2010 got the super dull classic interior but u could find a srt8 for relatively cheaper / same price with low miles too 2011-2014 chargers have uconnect pages as well if u would like that feature 2015+ for challenger pages
52k for 2021 challenger scatpack widebody with 6500 miles..I kno I could of gotten new for that price but it’s a rare find for widebodies in Michigan..I would suggest get the lowest mileage too
The dealer can plug into ECM and under the engine hours (that's all we see) it tells them average throttle positions, 30%, 60% and 90%. They know people drive wide open throttle and they want durability and 25mpg !😂

id get the scat, im 21 and young still i guess and i wanted speed, if thats what your looking for then just get the scat. if not then the rt will be just fine. if u want speed and get the rt, youll end up just wanting something more, that how i am with the scat LOL but i have no financial means of getting a hellcat so im keeping the scat its plenty for the road so go ahead and get the scat... you wont regret it trust me

I personally wait to see if a correction in the market is coming and try to get the lowest mileage possible for your budget. I have over 175k on mine and they're reliable but need to be kept up with which I worry most people don't.
In today's market, it seems reasonable. However, I would wait for the market to correct. I would also make sure you're have good credit and they don't bend you over with the ARP. Do your homework!

Without a warranty, I wouldn't consider a used Scat Pack/Hellcat. It's not that they aren't reliable, but some people abuse these cars and you never know.

I payed 29500 for my 18 scat 32k miles 2 days after dealers opened back up from Covid shutdown I got really lucky. Time is everything and right now is not the time to buy a car. Shit can’t even get a rav4 for under 36k with decent mileage lol If you have to have that car you better throw in a life time warranty with that mileage and when anything breaks on the car hope they can get the parts in to fix the any issues because if not you’ll be out of a car for weeks or months
He's got 100,000 or so left. I have 193,000 on my Challenger R/T and will break 200-250. Dodge gives a free nice metal 100,000, 200,000, Mile Club license plate frame when you hit each milestone. It's all about required maintenance and not abusing them.

Catch can, Hellcat filter and intake box with the tube that goes through the inner light on the driver's side and we put Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires on the Demon replica wheels, 305 in the back, 275 in the front. Huge difference over stock wheels and tires. And of course, take the yellow plastic guards off the chin spoiler. They're meant to be removed by the dealer and over time will scratch your chin spoiler if left on.
Because hellcats and scatpack chargers and challengers are for kids who have no knowledge of cars but want to be in the culture and have a credit score good enough to put themselves in debt. They then proceed to beat the shot out of them and push them off as they get upside down in their loans.
I'm not a expert, nor do I know your circumstances, but $746 seems high (keep in mind I don't know how much you put down, your interest rate, etc). I'll tell you what I tell everyone else I would wait for the car market to correct itself, it's a crazy market. Dude...those cars are used and abused the moment they leave the lot new...By the time they have 30k miles on it, the engine is shot. Think about this, when was the last time you saw a Dodge Charger or Challenger that wasn't driving 100 mph just from stop light to stop light? At the end of the day, it's still a Dodge, you know the rest of the statement.
