Just to add the arrows on lens indicate traffic circulation not RHD or LHD ie arrows pointing right means they would illuminate right hand pavement on a European road. The other comment about bulb holders is correct. They are angled in line with the lens off vertical so if you look at each reflector you would see the H4 bulb top tag the opposite side of vertical for LHD and RHD reflectors. If you file new slots to change the bulb angle it will then line up the H4 bulb shield with the lens. Many thanks for the video as I'm refurbishing my lamps this way

Thanks for that Colin. I wondered what I was going to do. I bought a pair of LHD lights from coastalmotorhomes. I tried cutting out the sealant but in the end I broke the glass on the new lights with a centre punch and small hammer and removed the pieces one by one, carefully and wearing goggles. The glass on the worst of the old ones came out more or less by itself - I was lucky it hadn't fallen off. For the other I cut the sealant and then managed to lever it off gradually working round. If it hadn't come I was going to cut up the back shell and remove pieces one by one. I cleaned up and sealed the new shells with the old glasses using Clear Sikaflex EBT+ as I could get it immediately from the nearby Screwfix. The top adjusters supplied were wrong so I refurbished the old ones. I used M6 tap and die to clean threads. A couple of clips for the adjusters had one of the three plastic 'petals' broken off so the adjusters were loose (and the whole light could have fallen off!) i fixed the bottom one by welding bits of plastic in the gap with my Weller heat gun and plastic welding tip, with the adjuster in place, and then winding with copper wire stripped out of mains cable for security. The top one was on a metal bracket so I welded a 'U' of wire (probably from a coathanger) to catch the ball of the adjuster.

So you are back as I see, after the trip you planned long ago. I just started checking the wild area that I used to visit through the last few years more frequently. Returened from the mountains with some good some bad news. As expected again people caused all bad changes I noticed this time. But I have seen new signs of bears in the area where I haven't seen tham ever before. Hope soon, the chance will appear for me to travel and get some video to prove they are well and safe. Best regards.
