    it was a really buititifull story of st Anthony father. it does prove the storys of st Anthony that there is a god and heaven there.

    1Timothy 2:5 says For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. That is straight from the Bible and rules out praying for Mary or any others to pray for us or mediate. By asking Mary or anyone else to pray for us we are asking them to mediate for us to God, to go before God on our behalf. if the Bible tells us to pray to Mary or any other book place or persons says to do so it or they is directly going against this. Your praying to dead people saints though they may be. Check your Bible and see what it says about that.
    Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and forever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun. I'll repeat that last part -they no more share in all that is done under the sun. That includes receiving your request which you made under the sun and praying to God for you or in otherwords mediating (“intercession”)
