Glorious St. Anthony Appeared to me in 1997 while I was praying at night. I couldn't believe my eyes, I was startled and scared. I didn't know him then. A Franciscan friar full of beauty, youth and enthusiasm, handsome, humble and loving,, looking at him with awe and fear since it is my first experience in life to see an apparation. I remember every detail of him. I told my priest of St. Maron's church describing him, he told me about St. Anthony who turns to be whom I have seen. Big resemblance between his picture on St Jude's Shop candle and the person I have seen. I love him so much, he is my companion since then and he is living in my heart next to Jesus. He is simply depicted in paintings as holding the baby Jesus as a symbol of his care for the Gospel, love of Jesus Christ, and how he (like we should) humbly live like Jesus, who was so perfectly humble that Christ became a man so that he can teach us and save us from eternal damnation.

Whenever my mother lost something, she would pray to St. Anthony and she would find the list article. I too, pray to him whenever I lose something and would find it. My husband, has a great devotion to St. Anthony and he prays the novenas. We had found a new house and we signed the agreement on 13th of June which is his feast day. This was a miracle! Beautiful, I was nearly in tears, realising the many problems and disappointments St Anthony had in his life time, and yet the wonderful being he was, he is and has been my friend for many years, without whose help my life would be very different and unmanageable. It is not just that he is the saint of things lost, he is the saint of people who are lost as well, the poor, the sick the elderly, anyone in need.

We were evicted from our apt living in a very cold basement in a family house? It was a very hard time for us.One night I was profoundly sleep and I felt like somebody turn on a light inside of me . And there was St. Anthony smiling at me with the sweetetes smile.Since then I felt strength inside me.I never felt sad or without my self steem
Here’s a fun story. I was going to Midnight Mass for Christmas Eve at St Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC. A friend was a horn player for the orchestra and had gotten tickets for me and another friend. We hit horrible traffic and were running late and still needed to park! It didn’t look good at all. I prayed to St Anthony to help us find a parking space, and a spot opened up on the street, as close as possible to the police security blockade, right next to the cathedral. If you know parking in NYC, this could only be called a miracle! But it gets even better... When we sat in the cathedral, we discovered we were seated right next to the side chapel for St Anthony!!! Of course, I had to light a candle, say a thank you, and make a donation to the box! And the Christmas mass was splendid.

I didn’t know much about St Anthony until I dreamt about a book that had his name and a date on it. I didn’t fully understand until a few days later that someone I know back then gave me a book about his life and legendary works. I could tell the numerous times he helped me and how wonderful they are to me and to those whom I have the honor of sharing his marvelous life and blessings received through his intercession. I prayed last night that God help me to find my patron saint. I’ve received a lot of signs lately and have returned to the church one week now. Over the last few weeks I’ve found great solace in sweeping, cleaning, washing dishes, yard work. This morning I lost my bank card on my way to play golf, after hearing the word of Mary and Martha in Saturday’s Mass, I made up my mind to not play and instead return home and pray and meditate on this happening. It has led me to St Anthony and now here, wanting to learn more of St Anthony. I recently learned about ST. Anthony, I heard that people would pray to him when they lost something. So, I did lose something that affected my income. I asked him if he could help. This may sound crazy but about 2 days later, I got an email that led to the recovery of what I lost. when I got to the place I was going, there on the persons door, was a picture of ST. Anthony. To say I was surprized would be an understatement. I made a promise that I would relate this story about him. Strange things sure happen in this world.

Saint Anthony, I always say his name every time i pray. The time I become broke and lost almost my jewelries, I can't pay the interest and expiry due date is over. One day while I'm cleaning my room and trying to change the position of the table light, I was surprised to find my gold necklace with pendant under the table light. Tears of happiness falling down. Later i realized Saint Anthony show a miracle to bring back my necklace. Heartedly thankful for loving kindness of Saint Anthony. Praise the Lord.. Amen

I have recently lost 2 USBs that are so important to me. They contain countless pictures and videos of family memories that I don't have anywhere else. I am feeling hopeless and discouraged because I have no idea where they could be. I think I am going to pray a novena to St. Anthony!
During the lock down due to the pandemic, my energetic dad started to deteriorate, he just spent most of the time in meditation and prayer. He spent his afternoons closing his eyes and listening to the Prayers of St. Anthony. I never expected that was his last weeks until June 13, 2020 came, the day of his death and the Feast Day of St. Anthony. My dad was a silent worker and was devoted to the church and charity to the poor...his life was patterned to St. Anthony- a life of humility, simplicity and joy. I recently learned about
ST. Anthony, I heard that people would pray to him when they lost something.
So, I did lose something that affected my income.
I asked him if he could help. This may sound crazy but about 2 days later, I got an email that led to the recovery of what I lost. when I got to the place I was going, there on the persons door, was a picture of ST. Anthony. To say I was surprized would be an understatement.
I made a promise that I would relate this story about him. Strange things sure happen in this world.
Yeah it is crazy, cuz everytime I lose something he brings me right to it. my daughter and I have a joke that he plays hide and seek with us. I don't even bother with the prayer anymore I just say "Anthonyyyy!" 🤨

Joann P - I’ve heard stories like this . The amazing thing is the person who asks st Anthony for help may not be particularly religious. The grandmother will demand the lady should just ask st Anthony. The granddaughter will ask out of frustration and in some respects to snub grandma with expectation grandma is wrong. These stories have an amazing way of Bringing Catholics back to church.

I saw St Anthony in my dreams. I just can't express it in words.That was wonderful.
Saint Anthony, I always say his name every time i pray. The time I become broke and lost almost my jewelries, I can't pay the interest and expiry due date is over. One day while I'm cleaning my room and trying to change the position of the table light, I was surprised to find my gold necklace with pendant under the table light. Tears of happiness falling down. Later i realized Saint Anthony show a miracle to bring back my necklace. Heartedly thankful for loving kindness of Saint Anthony. Praise the Lord.. Amen

The tradition honors a mystical experience St. Anthony had during his life that was witnessed by a benefactor who gave the Franciscan saint a place to stay for the night. One version of the story is narrated in The Life of St. Anthony published in 1895.
"While traveling through Limoges a pious benefactor gave [St. Anthony] lodging, and … assigned him a room separated from the others. It was night when the owner, either by chance or on purpose, passed near the room of the saint, and he observed that rays of unusual light came through the cracks of the door. He was curious to know the reason of that light, and approached the door very slowly. He saw Anthony kneeling, as if in ecstasy, and, full of wonder, admiring and caressing a loving child of rare beauty, who was tenderly embracing the saint. Then the man knew, from the affectionate conversation, and from the superhuman beauty, that it was Jesus Christ who, under the appearance of a loving child, was pleased to visit His faithful servant and fill him with His ineffable consolation."

During the lock down due to the pandemic, my energetic dad started to deteriorate, he just spent most of the time in meditation and prayer. He spent his afternoons closing his eyes and listening to the Prayers of St. Anthony. I never expected that was his last weeks until June 13, 2020 came, the day of his death and the Feast Day of St. Anthony.
My dad was a silent worker and was devoted to the church and charity to the poor...his life was patterned to St. Anthony- a life of humility, simplicity and joy.
