I agree, this wave feels kinda half-finished. Almost every figure feels like they're just missing something and are the bare minimum for a Marvel Legend. Ch'od needs his gun and more paint, Cyclops has no non-smoking head, Emma has no diamond parts, Monet has no Penance parts, Chamber could use a blasting head, Fang could've had a Wolverine head, Quentin really needs a more expressive head, and everyone could use more hands if they couldn't think of anything else. It feels like Corsair is the only *complete* figure here.
Yeah, things have been pretty under par lately. I've only been buying on clearance just to feel like I'm getting a fair value. If Ch'od were issued in a deluxe format, he would run close to $40.00. Now compare him to the Marvel Select Beta Ray Bill, which ran $29.99. What a difference, right?

Hard agree. Ch'od feels so lazy, as if Hasbro figured customizers could just paint washes and extra details themselves if they're not happy. I've got the Hellfire boxset Emma so I'm good there. The Generation X uniform sculpt looks good, but I doubt Hasbro'll do anything daring with it like Husk showing off her morphing powers. And there's so many X-chicks I'm STILL waiting for, like Marrow, Pixie, Cecilia Reyes and Rachel Summers!
Genuinely if the figures were a few bucks cheaper, the wave would be decent, i actually like alot of the figures but the price is keeping me from getting them

Don't care about Quint in the first place, but especially THIS version of him looking Marlon Blando! His blank expression is lame as shame! I say, get on that, Hasbro! 4. Fang would be great---if he wasn't on a big, lanky body! He's smaller in size, so it's weird that they put him on a bigger buck. It makes NO KIND of sense. 5. Monet. She looks good, but she looks like cheap plastic. The lack of paint detail really lets this one down. No accessory pieces either. Just rather BASIC. 6. Cyclops looks good. I'm not sure why we didn't get an optic blast. The smoking eye is okay. Not nearly as good though. No shading either, so again, very BASIC. 7. Corsair. This is a good looking figure, but his HEAD is TOO BIG! Proportionally, it's too big for his body. Also the yellow emblem on the one I got has paint chipped areas. However, I think he's probably the BEST figure of the wave. 8. Chamber. For me, only Quint is worse than this one. Others may like it by I HATE the unnatural looking elbows when they're bent. HATE IT. Looks DUMB! Maybe you get better articulation, but at the sacrifice of having your figure look goofy and ridiculously stupid. UGH! Hasbro had better pick things up soon, because even though I've been a fan of Marvel since I was 4 (almost 50 years, folks), I'm just about done collecting Marvel Legends. You can only have so much patience.
My love for Gen-X means I'll have to get Chamber and Monet. I would have liked the Quinun figure, but I think I'll wait to see if they ever do a fig with his more typical design.
While I get the criticism of "how can you review something you don't own" because opinions can change wildly depending on if you have the figure in hand or not, I gotta respect that you stick to your guns and refrain from supporting Hasbro unlike other reviewers who bitch and complain and still buy the product.

🤷♂️ marvel legends are marvel legends. They aren’t mesco or mafex. They have always been a basic line. They are what they are. It’s not premium, but where they excel is in character variety. No one covers an expansive universe like legends. At the end of the day, it’s why legends are so popular. Bring on more Shiar and starjammers Complaints of minimal effort, paint apps, and lack of accessories has always been their downside. The only difference is the price hike, which only means wait for the sale. So this is the usual Marvel legends discussion

Man its really dissapointing, Ive noticed myself getting less and less figures from legends waves, i have only completed one baf since this time last year and that was the controller and that was only because someone bought me a coupple of the figures as a christmas gift (This was that wave that people got charged early by hasbro pulse if you remember) An example of my apathy is this wave, i only have one cyclops figure, i don't have a figure of every other character in this wave yet i barely wanted any of this wave i only want corsair to complete the summers family

I'd love collector cards. I'm such a mark for stuff like that. I personally like this wave inaccurate Ch'od and all. But I do very much agree that there's something to be said for going above and beyond the expectations of the assignment. Does seem pretty basic. Problem why I've only picked up Chamber. None of these really blow my hair back.
I agree. This wave feels more like a splash... The individual figures are just OK overall and the BaF is a disappointment. I think the Fang figure's a bit bigger/taller than it should be since I think the character is around Wolverine's size (hence Wolverine being able to "acquire" his costume)... In addition to being a bit meh, I believe the Emma Frost has limited articulation in the shoulders due to that cape/cloak nudging her more into the disappointing category. The only ones I'm planning to get are Corsair, Monet, Chamber, and possibly Cyclops. Really hoping we get the rest of the Gen-X team sooner rather than later/never...
Total pass on the whole wave for me except the White Queen I need her for my Xmansion Library room. HASBRO needs to drop the price especially if they keep pumping out reusable molds and still in a coffin ⚰️ package 📦 forcing me to open my White Queen. The price tag just doesnt eqaul up to the material pumped out. These action figures look and feel like toys from $5 Below store. Again thank you Hasbro for making me save my money 💰
A lot of people was wanting and waiting so long for Chod and Hasbro says “here this will shut em up” and they throw this abomination reused garbage at us…. I quit collecting Hasbro Legends a long time ago and I don’t regret it
I am pretty sure you can remove the effect from his visor. They even painted it red on the inside, however obviously it's going to look slightly hollow without it.
A shame, because I was really looking forward to how a Marvel Legends Ch'od would turn out. He seems so bland and boring in plastic form. Definitely could have benefited from some more paint, new sculpting, and better articulation. Meh. >:/
Amateur mistakes, Emma cape could be glued at her back, in that way, she will keep her movement in arms, Cyclops with a different scale than Corsair, when both should be Vulcan mold, Fang with this Magneto mold, but they could use the Wolverine mold, Chamber an abomination on scale, the best mold here is Kid Omega, that's the best part of this. The BAF is the worst part. I like your intro, but I doubt they are improvement anything, they are indeed doing less and less effort, The BAF are the proof of that, they are getting lazy everytime.
Unfortunately, when it comes to saying positive vs negative things on the Internet, you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Dude, absolutely love your videos. I don't watch this channel because you have all the figures you talk about. I watch this channel because of your enthusiasm, and charm, and you look really good with a hat on. But no, really, we all know exactly what most figures feel like anyway, as we know what buck they're on. You don't need to have it in hand to know exactly what it's going to move like.
People enjoy hearing about the figures and sharing opinions. I know its a contentious subject but it seems just hearing my thoughts regardless of ownership makes a lot of folks happy.

Fang is the only one that really stands out on the shelf. Of course for sone reason they never shipped Monet to me. Corsaire is pretty good too. Chamber has a good head sculpt but not an interesting design otherwise. And his feet suck.
One gets the sense the Hasbro powers that be look over the many incarnations of a particular character and choose the one that involves the least amount of work.
@@DisplayingModelBehaviour add in the bad quality control on GI JOE CLASSIFIED (i.e. weird face sculpts) and it makes more sense to shell out a bit more money for one quality figure (Diamond Select or SH Figuarts) than for one or two bad ones.
I actually enjoy this type of review. Have fans share their footage with ya and you giving ya opinions with whats there. Good way to interact with fans and review figs you can't physically get. 👌👌👌

I will still get Ch'od by himself from a collector that doesn't like him, just because I like big brawny characters, but what I hope they actually do is change the legs, it's so bad looking, at least change the knee joints to a double hinge knees. I don't mind the shorter size or reusing molds but at least do something about the ugly knees. This is why I rely on and invest on other company such as diamond select and even 3rd party companies to get better figures and only buy marvel legends for sale or clearance prices which is actually what they are worth considering the work Hasbro allow the Marvel Legends team to put on. I hope Toybiz can get the license back or absorb the Marvel Legends team into their company instead of working for Hasbro. Hey, Awesome videos as always.
I don't mind reuse . I do mind the lack of creativity when it comes to painting the figures . Ch'od should have those lines on his leg shaded in a darker paint . He could have at least come with a new looking weapon . Also the Chamber figure is my least favorite . I agree the figure should have come with another head or at least a removable fire puke beard . We know Hasbro makes figures with the lower face covered . ( Hello Star Wars , GI Joe ) Unfortunately Ill get these because I am an X-Man fan . I am a completist , and that probably is a mental illness . Hasbro takes the stiletto and stabs me again .

You don't need to have figures in hand to see that Hasbro is lazy. Honestly, having them in hand would probably just allow you to pick up on even more stuff that's done poorly or missing altogether. If you're not going to include anything else with fang, paint the yellows so they aren't glaringly different between the two plastics.

I'd love collector cards. I'm such a mark for stuff like that. I personally like this wave inaccurate Ch'od and all. But I do very much agree that there's something to be said for going above and beyond the expectations of the assignment. Does seem pretty basic. Problem why I've only picked up Chamber. None of these really blow my hair back.

I agree. This wave feels more like a splash... The individual figures are just OK overall and the BaF is a disappointment. I think the Fang figure's a bit bigger/taller than it should be since I think the character is around Wolverine's size (hence Wolverine being able to "acquire" his costume)... In addition to being a bit meh, I believe the Emma Frost has limited articulation in the shoulders due to that cape/cloak nudging her more into the disappointing category. The only ones I'm planning to get are Corsair, Monet, Chamber, and possibly Cyclops. Really hoping we get the rest of the Gen-X team sooner rather than later/never...
Hopefully they’ll continue with Gen X!
Total pass on the whole wave for me except the White Queen I need her for my Xmansion Library room. HASBRO needs to drop the price especially if they keep pumping out reusable molds and still in a coffin ⚰️ package 📦 forcing me to open my White Queen. The price tag just doesnt eqaul up to the material pumped out. These action figures look and feel like toys from $5 Below store. Again thank you Hasbro for making me save my money 💰

I am pretty sure you can remove the effect from his visor. They even painted it red on the inside, however obviously it's going to look slightly hollow without it.

A shame, because I was really looking forward to how a Marvel Legends Ch'od would turn out. He seems so bland and boring in plastic form. Definitely could have benefited from some more paint, new sculpting, and better articulation. Meh. >:/

Amateur mistakes, Emma cape could be glued at her back, in that way, she will keep her movement in arms, Cyclops with a different scale than Corsair, when both should be Vulcan mold, Fang with this Magneto mold, but they could use the Wolverine mold, Chamber an abomination on scale, the best mold here is Kid Omega, that's the best part of this. The BAF is the worst part. I like your intro, but I doubt they are improvement anything, they are indeed doing less and less effort, The BAF are the proof of that, they are getting lazy everytime.

Fang and Chamber were the only ones that really interested me. M is a character I like, but the head sculpt was awful.

I watch this channel because of your enthusiasm, and charm, and you look really good with a hat on. Fang is the only one that really stands out on the shelf. Of course for sone reason they never shipped Monet to me. Corsaire is pretty good too. Chamber has a good head sculpt but not an interesting design otherwise. And his feet suck.

@@DisplayingModelBehaviour add in the bad quality control on GI JOE CLASSIFIED (i.e. weird face sculpts) and it makes more sense to shell out a bit more money for one quality figure (Diamond Select or SH Figuarts) than for one or two bad ones.

I will still get Ch'od by himself from a collector that doesn't like him, just because I like big brawny characters, but what I hope they actually do is change the legs, it's so bad looking, at least change the knee joints to a double hinge knees. I don't mind the shorter size or reusing molds but at least do something about the ugly knees. This is why I rely on and invest on other company such as diamond select and even 3rd party companies to get better figures and only buy marvel legends for sale or clearance prices which is actually what they are worth considering the work Hasbro allow the Marvel Legends team to put on. I hope Toybiz can get the license back or absorb the Marvel Legends team into their company instead of working for Hasbro. Hey, Awesome videos as always.

You don't need to have figures in hand to see that Hasbro is lazy. Honestly, having them in hand would probably just allow you to pick up on even more stuff that's done poorly or missing altogether.
If you're not going to include anything else with fang, paint the yellows so they aren't glaringly different between the two plastics.
