    Would it be possible to put a link to the video where you show how to get to that point? You have quite a few videos, and I can't find that particular one. Thanks!

    Thank you for this very helpful video! After switching the polarity (Red & Black wires) the motor now works perfectly. Just up means down and visa versa. Have you encountered this before? Any thoughts on whether the board or the motor requires replacement for normal functionality?
    Thanks again!

      Hmm that is hard to say I would think incline board or console.meter the incline board when you press up on the console the red should read 110 vac ! and thank you

    I have a newer unit and it appears Sole has been watching your videos. Our circa 2020 machine has a thin plastic "sweat hut" very similar to your cardboard and gorilla tape invention. Unfortunately our problems are due to flooding, not sweat, so the hut didn't do us any good.

  • @trevorkilpatrick3010
    @trevorkilpatrick3010 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks for the helpful video!! I don't have an incline problem (I don't think) but the unit itself keeps resetting. I turn it on, the control panel starts up (software v1.2), then resets. Sometimes it will stay on for a few minutes, sometimes for a few seconds. I had a frayed main control wire (runs from behind the power inlet up to the control panel), but I just replaced it and I'm still having the same problem. Seems like a short somewhere, but haven't been able to find it. Any ideas?

    • @FitnessTechnologyServices

      Hmm sounds like a bad display to me or incline controller and power is dropping to console or console is resetting send me your serial # to fitnesspartspro@gmail.com for more specific troubleshooting

      Hi Dave! I got the incline motor from Sole. We took the cover off the back and saw how it goes in but it looks complicated for us amateurs
      . Before we even try I want to ask, have you had experience with the incline not working even though the computer console shows that it is? My computer was replaced a year ago. The whole console. But when I’m on the elliptical it will not hold the incline. The bars fall back down. The tech at sole said it must be the motor who’s h is why they sent that huge piece. Could it be something simpler? Your thoughts?

    Hello. I have an E25 model. It has an E3 error code. I have recalibrated multiple time. The code clears. Then when I go to use the incline again it inclines very little the the E3 codes comes back. Even through the calibration it doesn’t appear to go through the entire incline. Do you think the incline power board needs to be replaced?

    • @FitnessTechnologyServices
      @FitnessTechnologyServices  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ziggy MTB Hello . No I don’t think this would be power board . It sounds like a encoder issue take all input wires off the console but the main wire harness recalibrate unit if this issue still comes back I would think it would be in console display or incline . Thanks Dave

      fitness technology services link on youtube : th-cam.com/users/results?search_query=fitness+technology+services Thanks so much for viewing my videos. The main thing to work on would be removing the side covers without taking arms off or making the hole in the center of the side disk accessible to interior components. Thanks Dave

      @Carpet Hooligan I have nothing to do with the design, but I 100% agree. I'm a service tech that works on fitness equipment several times a day and can't count how many times I have complained about just that. FYI - the new models are even worse...hahaha

    • @FitnessTechnologyServices
      @FitnessTechnologyServices  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm that’s a tough one I would think this is a processing issue with the console. Because when you calibrate it you are bypassing the the signal and the console is just sending up and down. Do any numbers change on your display when calibration is done ?

      @@FitnessTechnologyServices First, thank you for your response. So, I found out how to re-sync the incline, and that cleared the error (E3) and now I can use my incline. The other issue I have now is that the machine will not shut off automatically as it use to do. This all started when I unplugged the machine to move it. Once I turned it back on I noticed the error code, then the odometer was erased, and also it will no longer shut off after 30 minutes. At this point I have to actually turn the switch off to get the display to go off. It is very bright and I don't like to just leave it on. Do you know how to turn the auto shut off back on? The date code is 2019.1Q. I cannot seem to locate the SN. Thank you for the help.

    or I just advise the customer they should try not to drip sweat onto their equipment EVER! - big fan and a towel is all most would need to avoid it...

  • @JimCampbell777
    @JimCampbell777 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    What's needed is a class action suit against Sole. Think of how silly this sounds. They put a circuit board where it can get sweat on it AND they've had numerous problems with this. My board got fried. They want anywhere between $120-$160 for the board...not including the labor to fix it. How incompetent! This is a an exercise machine for god's sakes!

    • @FitnessTechnologyServices
      @FitnessTechnologyServices  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well they have added a cover over the board on some models I always make a home made cover when I change one. You can see this on my video changing incline board
