There isnt anything other than the water filter that has been added. Its not needed and slows everythign down. Just descale your machine once a month if in a hard water area.
I've just purchased a my way 2, and was hoping someone could help when doing a macchiato it's not layering the coffee into 3 different layers, the machine is brand new its been cleaned, the milk fills the glass fine but once the coffee goes into the milk it just doesn't form the layers at all, it looks nothing like yours in the video
@@mgtracey yes milk is always first and given it a good shake, I've even taken the water filter out to see if that makes any difference, this my way 2, replaced my old tassimo which never had this problem milk froths well but no sooner the coffee goes in it just mixes itself into a mess really, no 3 layers at all, I've even brought different latte glasses to see if was that, but nope it still does it

I just bought the Tassimo my way 2 and I went on to tassimos page because the instructions are ridiculous 😂 and still got nowhere. I had the original Tassimo a LONG time ago but this ones so much different...then I found you and now I know all I need to and just made the perfect caramel latte so thank u for the tutorial and review I love it❤️ . can I ask a questions though should you use the Brita filter that comes with it and what are the timer looking functions on the water tank? thank u in advance
I dont think the filter is necessary. Depending on how hard your water is in your area you should descale once a month or whne the machine says lights up red, my video is here; th-cam.com/video/esRuyyAKthc/w-d-xo.html More chance of the filter being too old and affecting the water than any real benefit.
I wanted to see where the pods go, which order they do in and which way round they go, but your camera focuses on the cup. So when you're putting in the pods in I can't see what's happening, So it's not been much good for me.
@@mgtracey I the tassimo and it just seems not hot enough I have to heat my cups up with boiling hot water from the kettle now I have purchased the NESPRESSO just hope that works better Plus I’d probably think the budgeting is probably cheaper for this machine ....
Can you show the part where the filter connects please? Ive bought a second hand My Way 2 which i think is missing an inner plastic container in the water tank that the filter goes in (my old machine had this second chamber). I'm presuming filter doesn't go straight into the main part but could be wrong and need to know the part I'm buying (as do want a filter)
I would just use without the water filter. If you are in a hard water area just run a descaling solution through over 60 days. make sure you flush through really well after doing this. I have a video on my channel showing how to do it if you need help - Paul

Are you shaking the milk tdisc and putting it in first then just put in the coffee Tdisc and leave for a minute or so

Can you use your own semi skimmed milk
Yes. Warm it a little in the microwave. Jusr buy coffee only t discs, and add milk second with a gentle stir
Maybe zoom in a bit closer next time. I had problems making out the individual milk molecules.

Various, I adjust by holding the button to top up which ever glass I am using.

Also use milk pods first before the coffee ones.
My coffee is never hard enough what could be the issue ..
Coffee should never have boiling hot water. Make sure you touch temperature light until red when you next make one .
