Apparently, all post rock instrumental bands have this magnificent way of expressing all the words that should be said in their song, already in the band's and album's name. So no words are needed in songs any longer. And I adore that with all of my heart.

I think the comments from you all speak volumes. True art has this effect on all who are receptive and are tired of the trash that is constantly being thrown at us non stop by a faceless enemy. You can call this enemy anything you like but its there. Hang in there all of you who are feeling lonely, depressed or not sure why you were born we will know soon enough. This life we are experiencing is not even a nano second of time compared to eternity. We are going to be in the presence of true love that are tiny brains can barely grasp now. Let's be good to each other and make the universe and its creator proud of us. For those who do not believe in a creator just sit back somewhere quiet and listen to what love is telling you. Forget the chemicals it fun buts it's distortion! See you all someday, be good brothers &sisters!

I've used to listen to this set (obviously not this upload, i knew it earlier, back in 2011) just months before my Father suddenly died. After his death i couldn't even start to listen to it. It took me around 4-5 years to get used to this music again. Very powerful piece. It's hard to explain that feelings, they are still there, but somehow in the background. They're giving me peace again. Thank You.

I experienced the exact same thing with "Wish You Were Here" by Pink Floyd after my brother died from heroin at age 31. Eventually you get to where you can listen to the important music in your life. Through such listenings, the beloved lost live again in memory. May your father live again in every relistening of this album. God's blessing on you brother.

Discovered Post-Rock listening to "Scandinavian Stargazing" on Google Play Music. So happy to hear these several bands as they pick up where Tangerine Dream left off decades ago. Way more mindful, descriptive and listenable than the usual & predictable ambients out there. As a visual artist with beginnings in the sixties, I've found renewal (and justification) in continuing to express the inexpressible beauty many of us found back then. Maybe this time, it won't get trounced by the brutality of this present age of humanity's immaturity and ignorance of the essential reality that makes life on this planet worthwhile, interesting and even fun.

    “Sigh Of Relief”
    He clears his throat,
As he starts to lose hope.
    Only he knows the toll,
    That's worn on his soul.
A breath of fresh of air,
    Through all of his despair,
The old cliche that life's not fair,
Does anyone have a square to spare,
    He doesn't normally smoke,
But these days, He's been living in a haze anyways.
    He clears his throat,
    In the hopes,
    To have a new approach,
    so here goes.
    They raise their glasses,
    As he makes a toast,
    He clears his throat,
    To share new hope.
Ps I’m not the best writer but I often find myself coming here to this band, explosions in the sky, this will destroy you etc... the energy, emotion and depth heal my soul a little at times.
