Me too! And then I change my mind. I've come to a point where I just say every Tool song is better than ever other Tool song. It just explains the way I feel so well.
God and Jesus ! I can't say enough how your involuntary facial and body actions display your real appreciation towards the rare genius of musicians such as tool
You’re right. There are no words to do it justice. It’s not a song. It’s a soundscape, art, whatever you want to call it. Very few bands are capable of what they’ve done here. Remarkable work
Watching you react to Tool songs makes my night. It’s awesome watching people experience Tool for the first time, and you add your hilarity to it. You’re cute too. Keep enjoying it!
I’ve been listening to Tool since .. shit 94, junior in high school. After all these years of listening to this band , ..... Think for yourself, question authority. Choices have consequences, live with them, never be complacent in life, always strive to do better, life’s too short to not be productive with every breath. That the messages I get from this band as a whole. Also I always feel positive after a good Tool session.
If you want the ultimate Tool "journey" experience react to Wings for Marie (Pt 1) and 10,000 days (Wings Pt 2). Both songs are meant to be listened to as one song and are from the album 10,000 Days. It's a song about Maynard's mother and in my opinion is the most Beautiful Tool song of all.
@@nbx2au Okay, they are on the cusp of being boomers and Gen X-ers, Danny Carey may be a boomer, technically, but those are some of the bands that influenced Tool, lol
This is about soldiers coming home from tours and dealing with PTSD IMHO and a call to ask them to beat their demons and go on. So many military queues/hints in the Lyrics. The opening is a soundscape of a soldier in thought at the beach. The words/ideas " reveille" "Come, our end, suddenly (suicide)" "Mobilize" "Call us all to arms and order" - All terms for soldiers.
The f-ing guitar entering like a race car, roaring like a beast! Holy cow, gets me every single time... Beautiful reaction to a beautiful band! Peace and love from Mexico 🤟🏿
After taking a train from Stockholm to Prague...I don't mind telling you that my face literally erupted into incomprehensible tears and facial contortions watching Descending live.
@@MaddSpazz2000 I think descending has the biggest release of tension but it doesn't release into a heavy section, just finally has the band playing together.
@@kimuhstry no it wouldn't... it's a great song but it literally is in no way the best song on the album. it is great to close the album but the best part is easily the intro and half way through when danny rides the china symbol. There is no real build or even a climax. Its better then any other band could try to make but still.
@@TravisBaker561 It's all matter of opinion and what you want from a song. I think all of 7empest is amazing, especially everything after the intro. That power cord on 5:20 hits me every time . The only songs I think are lesser tier are culling voices and cct. The rest depend on the day and where I'm at in life. Kinda like how I think fear Innoculum will sound better and better as I mature .
It's almost like a rework of Right In Two that starts with deep time (ocean to amphibian to land), does roughly the same thing lyrically, feels more grim though - like a state of acceptance that things will be what they are - but yeah, it's a journey.
People are people. There are at least 80% to the good. "Pneuma live" 1 year ago. Never forget you are human.Meaning of Pneuma. The vital spirit, soul or creative force of a person.
Cody Romaine the tone is lost in the message. It was meant as a jokethat her channel was blowing up on Tool reviews. I guess an emoji would have helped.
Tool is brilliant in so many ways, but the way I appreciate the most is how Adam, Justin & Danny build the music structurally... brick by brick. AAAAnd, Maynard, commensurately, does the same with his vocals. The way that man can subdue then expand his vocals...Effing perfect (This song, H, 10,000 days, 46 &2, and so on....). Tool is better at this then I, and most likely everyone reading this, will ever be at anything. They have mastered their craft.
This album was just a masterpiece. I find it funny people try to pick a favorite song on the album. This is like Elvis Presley/Michael Jackson level greatness on an entire album. 9 months later and I’m still shitting my pants over how good it is.
The beauty of Maynard’s lyrics are that they can be interpreted in many different ways. I personally think this song and Invincible are about staving off the effects of aging. No one beats Father Time.
Another thing I love is that how white culture adapted black cultural music in the form of jazz, blues, rap! And so many others so many years ago .. and that the black culture is appreciating where heavy rock took your influence to a different level. Everything is a derivativ of coloured musical influences. From Elvis. To slipknot

This has become my favorite song from this album.
Voidwraith Prime same, and was the last song on the album I got into.... I love it lol
Same here, it was Culling Voices January, Pneuma December, Invincible November, Tempest October, Fear Inoculum September...

My favorite keeps changing, right now it's Pneuma but 2 weeks ago it was this. :D Rock on Tool Army!
" I feel like I'm running through the galaxy " yup, she's getting it.
Pretty sure she's not

96. I was 11. I heard Eulogy and it was so far beyond anything I'd heard to that point. Got my mom to buy Aenema for me and my life changed.

YES! I love this album. They played this when I saw them in Atlantic City this past November.
Pneuma next
I was there also, it was an amazing show!
Seeing Tool live indoors will change your life
He'll yea seen them 14/2 /20 in Perth Australia for the 3rd time was buy far the best concert I've ever been to still can't get over it
Watching you genuinely enjoy this is truly a treat to watch. I love how you react with your whole body... the only way to truly experience Tool!!
Greatest song ever imo!
Think about it all these members are in their 50s and killing the game have been since the 90s
MrCubensis420 and Danny Carey is in the best form of his life and hes nearly 60 🔥🔥🔥
They should be well practiced amd skilled by now :) ...
Scribe, you have been captured by a bunch of skillful boomers :)
@@nbx2au Nah, they aren't boomers, they are Gen X-ers. Their parents would be the boomers.
It depends on the band, but people born between 1946 and 1964? Are baby boomers. Ac/dc, pink floyd, zeppelin... are definitely boomers.

Descending and Invincible are as great as Tool has ever been. I’ve listened to those songs hundreds of times, and I still get goosebumps.
True dat
So do I
aww we're getting into the new shit! pneuma is gonna happen!
Can't wait.
Pneuma is an absolutely incredible song! But, then so is Descending!
Pneuma is lazy filler. Tool fans are just too proud to admit it.

YAY! Thank you Scribe. I've been waiting all week for this. :)
Saw them live last year and they played this, insane! You need to check out the live show, it’ll blow your mind!!
Yeah, you get it. Lotta soul right there. Cheers
This is my favorite TOOL Descending reaction video on the internet right now.
She gets it, she got the moves and the grooves.
The song is about the descent of humankind and our pending demise from our own inattention and apathy.
You need to get 409 to sponsor a video.
Just got my TOOL tickets for April 17th in Orlando. Booyah!
Hell yeah, see you there! Haha
Got mine for May 5th, Michigan
Watching this on the 15th and seeing this comment I give my condolences
