That looks so fun. And those Raptors look awesome. How do you think a Tremor would handle all that, levelled maybe 2 1/2" on 35's? How about a Platinum Plus levelled 3 1/2" on 35's, with upgraded suspension components, with or without the FX4 package? Obviously, different vehicles for different primary purposes, but still wondering since I can only afford getting one, glad to upgrade the heck out of it if good reason to, but still only one. It will be my daily driver, and whatever else I use it for, and that could be many things, I want it to have a smooth, comfortable long distance highway drive. But this off road ability is pretty freakin cool. Thanks.
Highly recommend looking at a Raptor instead. Won’t find a better riding truck…on and off road! My 2023 is also my daily driver. I was at this event and drove it 7 hours home.
@@Pilot545 Thanks for the input. I am considering a 2025 Raptor, 37 package, and maybe having Real Deal Rambo Neal's crew do some custom work. Wish the Raptor came with an optional luxury interior package, say those Platinum Plus max luxury seats for instance. Do you find the extra width ever an issue when off road, or is that a pretty rare difficulty?
@@Nate-zy5ce Haven’t had the truck long (only about 5 months). But I have done a couple events, this one included. This recent one was the first time I really tested the width on the trail ride. Nothing bad. Just gotta go slow in some sections (and pull those mirrors in). Made it through 12 miles with no pin striping. 😜 For the most part, it’s the same interior as I had in my Platinum, but I do miss those massaging seats. Haha. BUT…the capability of these trucks MORE than make up for it. And, it simply rides WAY better than the leaf spring setups on standard F-150s. You will NOT be disappointed…guaranteed! 🤙🏼
@@Pilot545 That's very relevant info. Thanks for sharing. I wish I had the option of considering the hybrid Powerboost in the Raptor. Would love the Raptor R, but with its lower mpg, and higher cost, I don't think I'll go that far. But a Raptor, 37 package especially, maybe a few after market tweaks like a level and Indo or something, is so very tempting. Some youtubers have reinforced the Raptor springs even added leafs to give it more payload capacity for their overlanding, but I'm hesitant to do that b/c I suspect that would compromise its famed buttery smooth highway drive. If I do any overlanding I'll just be selective about what I load on, since that would just be sporadic anyway.
Thankyou for showing the TRX' S some love.
Epic weekend for sure! Thanks for trusting me with your life as we ripped around Turbo track! 😂

Where is this located
Union point, Ga
How many acres are there at this track
Not acres...miles. Durhamtown is definitely worth Googling. Plus, they have rental cabins and rental ATV's
