Oh 24 hours ago this mahashay was saying that the tax has actually been reduced? Now he is saying it has increased and the reason is to discourage trading? This guy flip flops more than Nitish Kumar.
They are paid for that and he must be close to his retirement and gets Rs 3 lakhs per month pension
Mr. Somanathan why should you get DA increase every 6 months when there is no increase in prices as per you because no indexation means no increase in prices. Means we need to ask you to stick to the basic pay only which is given to you. And this way whole realty sector is going to loose funding for projects. And if there is no indexation then government need to bring the present circle rates back to previous rates for calculating the cost of land.
For them salary should be increased every 5year because of inflation.
For them salary should be decreased back .then automatically all prices come down.and inflation will be controlled
If that's the case, Tax on LTCG shud be 0. What's the rationale in increasing the tax on LTCG and promoting it on the other hand.

Mr. SECRETARY SIR -- The Revenue budget is so high ( 65% of total budget ) which is largely SALARY and PENSIONs. There are central government employees who are 80 + getting pension around Rs 1.5 lakhs per month -- If both husband and wife both are pensioner their monthly income is Rs 3 lakhs which is RS 36 lakhs per year - Close to Executive salary in IT company .. A completely non productive Pension payout is too high due to OLD PENSION SCHEME OPS ( which is still running ) .. Government wants to milk the same COW which gave milk every year -- This INDEXXAION benefit rationalization is also in that direction . People are smart .. They remember this

FOR LTCG, an option of indexation or without indexation may be given for 4 to 5 years.
Already registering cost for property is a big amount like tax for the purchaser of property. Then again on selling LTCG without Indexation is very bad
So budgeting is done unknown people wishes indexation must be restored back with lower rate of 12.5%
Respected Secretary Sir .. Please dump entire BUDGET CALCULATION Raw data , we can figure out easily using AI tools where is the maximum impact etc.. These explanations are not ROCKET SCIENCE , IT people can get these within 0.5 sec . We also know FINANCE MINISTRY has to fund the loss happened due to 13 bridges washout in BIHAR from Middle class income -- Pouring tons of money in that LEAKY BUCKET called BIHAR, we have to work hard and pay tax ..
