Hey, I had my first lucid dream on my second night from imagining where I want to be and combining it with MILD, but it wasn’t super vivid and I wanted something more. Because of this is have been trying ssild but always seem to fall asleep before I get through everything because I’m too relaxed. Do you have any pointers on how to successfully do it or should I try WILD because of how relaxed I can be while going to sleep?

Yea, Last night I had a Sorta Nightmare and it’s about something irl, I was getting my Flu shot (ow ;-;) and when it happened I felt no pain then suddenly I felt like I was gonna faint in the dream sorta then I woke up and I was like.... that’s the Weirdest Nightmare I have ever had... plus I normally don’t have Nightmares

Heck, mine are mostly memories. But at the same time not. Most of my dreams are things that could’ve happened, or I could have done to stop something bad happening, or things that could happen, and then they don’t.
But I suppose that’s a good thing, considering how weird some of those things could’ve been really bad or weird.
Otherwise it’s dejavú, lucid dream, weird dream, nice dream, sad dream or lucid nightmares. I’ve never had a nightmare before. Only a lucid nightmare. But lucid nightmares are far more terrifying.
I’ve even had a lucid nightmare where when I got hurt from the monster in that lucid nightmare, and I woke up, I was injured in the same way that I was injured in the dream. Terrifying, am I right?

Guys, I finally had my first lucid dream after trying for 2 weeks. It was so vivid , it only lasted for what seemed like 5 minutes.

I have had 5 lucid dreams in a row. Tonight will be 6.
I used to have dreams of trying to fly or climb strange places, but then falling. One of the strange places were a ladder with no rails above a shallow rock-filled lake. And I used to wake up, fall asleep again and dream, and then wake up. The cycle would last the whole life. I watched this video and I have started to try and let go of whatever holds me back. Since then I have had flying dreams.

I've had a lot of dreams about school.
Like teachers I dislike taking control of me, trapping me in hidden rooms, even chasing me down in a wedding, laser tag room, and aquarium(for some reason?)
I think those dreams signified how much I was focusing on bad things, and was not being positive about life. These dreams have recently gone away, but I still think about them.
Another example about school dreams:
my crush appearing in them. Every. Single. Time.
I think this is definitely about a self esteem turn point in my life, and just relationship goals I have with this person.

I once had a dream where the Green Arrow tried to kill me, and my shoes turned into swords, but he evade all of my attacks, and his arrow become a robot.

I keep having dreams about my next-door neighbors. Their houses look almost the same as in real life.

@Simo Pöntelin good Idea. Also, because of the coronavirus, we are all in our homes more so our homes will appear in our dreams more. Since I am at home more I probably would see the neighbors house more. Whenever I see my neighbor's house I will be sure to do a reality check. Whenever something does not feel right in my home I will be sure to also do a reality check.

I'm very confused about a dream my friend had from HER perspective, then two weeks later i had the exact same dream except that it was MY perspective. Even though we still don't have an answer, we kinda just stopped caring about it lol

My friends nightmares: I fell off of a cliff
My nightmares:I’m camping in a forest with my friends from elementary school and then an angry kangaroo appears and brutally murders us all
I know I dream almost every night, whenever I wake up, it’s like the snap of a finger and it’s gone before I even have the time to reach my dream journal. All of them except for one specific dream I’ve had every couple of weeks
Try and wake up naturally. Phones, alarm clocks and other noises tend to not just wake you up but grab your attention and demand some action. That usually causes the immediate 'forgetfulness '. The dream IS stored but more harder to remember. Create a real or mental list of things and activities that happen more often in your dreams. Start with the ones you remember even partially. Then when you wake up try and not jump out of bed but lay for a while asking yourself...where was I? City,street, house, road, field, forest,etc. What was I doing? Walking, running, talking, etc. Did I met someone? If yes, who? Include feelings,sense of touch or smell as well. Often you need just 1 fragment or a 'key' image to start remembering the dream. Then unravel from that going backwards till you get to the last thing you remember. Hope this helps you.

I feel like often the difficulty in remembering your dreams comes from the dreams being so abstract its hard to even explain it to your waking mind. But there are many dreams I do remember. My most common nightmares are about escaping from tornadoes, or swimming and finding myself surrounded by toxic jellyfish. Kinda wonder what that means

My brain has always been working on remembering dreams from remembering small tiny parts to remembering the most enjoyable parts.I didn't know about lucid dreaming but I used to remembering my full dreams and then stepped down to cutting of the beginning of the dream but I always for some reason remember my full nightmares but its ok to help me learn how everything goes completely wrong and learn how to control my dreams more and it also helps me feel less scared.
I have a reoccurring dream where me and my friend are walking up an infinite wheelchair ramp, that leads to a store, it twists and turns and sometimes goes upside down. I always struggle to get up the ramp while my friend is walking up it with ease, at the end of the ramp the store is always closed and we have to go back. we turn around and magically the ramp is only 5 feet long!

Im extremely lonely and i've been trying to lucid dream to understand myself more, more of gaining knowledge, somewhat like Edgar Cayce.
When I was younger I used to have this dream. I did not have it just once or twice. I had it very many times. I dreamed that I was driving on the highway right next to the apartment I used to live in at the time. I had no control over the car and I never knew what to do, but each time I ended up stopping at a specific place, and every time this lady came in and said she was going to drive me home. She seemed very kind and genuine. The dream always stopped after she said she could drive me home. What does that mean?
I also dreamed something similar. I was riding a motorcycle on a highway. I fell out of it and I woke up. I had it many times when I was 4 years old and the dream comed back when I turned 6. And I also driving my dad's motorcycle pretty well when I turned 8-9-ish.
You two got similar dreams that looks similar to my dream. I once found a girl literally quiet. Just jumping. (I mean I was just playing video games in my dream all the time) she kinda look like she has a minecraft skin. Idk her name since it's like different languages at the same time) well then she left then I left too. But. In my dream. What I did was keep finding her. Finding. And finding. Until I woke up. IT WAS LIKE ONCE AT A LIFE TIME DREAM ENCOUNTERS!!! I had to keep finding her in other dreams. But what I got was just random player. It was like I fell in love with her skin. And I also said it in one of my oldest videos. I guess try your luck finding that vid.

I had a dream that I was trying to lucid dream, then I went into the bathroom and wanted to look in the mirror for the exact reason you said not to in your dos and don'ts video, but my friend was in there and holding it with his tiny noodle arms, even though the mirror was huge and probably weighed more than me. I've had 2 dreams where I was kinda aware that I was dreaming and both times I ended up committing serial murder.
I had a scary dream once: my dad got kidnapped and the kidnappers made him become a program in a computer. as usual, I can fly in all my dreams but…in this dream with difficulty. So my dad got kidnapped and died becoming a program of a computer. When I arrived to rescue him, I was too late but the laptop that he became was still there I stole it and spoke to my dad… he told me… that in real life somehting with him is about to happen… and in fact the next day he tripped as in the prediction… what does it mean?
What about a huge festival of all holidays combined? I think part of me just misses the holidays/social gatherings, despite having social anxiety.

Now interpret this: What does it mean if I cut my own fingers off in a dream for no reason, then I felt terrible and cried to myself right after that mean? This probably happened about 2 times and I’m CONCERENED.

I have many dreams about my game boy breaking. In alot of them my "character" doesn't belive it happens even when it does. That might be the part of me that knows what happening and wants to protect me from the lies. The real part of me thinks it's true. An often thing that occurs is I do things that I want to do to be nice to myself to make me not hate myself and to be nicer. Not criticizing everything I do. I do things I want rather than what I need. That's probably why I do many things wrong. I just choose to do it wrong. I say it's just me being stupid but maybe it's me just not paying attention and do what I want. And always regreting and punishing myself for it later then doing it again. Like an idiot. I never learn. God. Why

Me dreaming about something cool but rubbing my eyes skin that dream fades away and it works:
I've had a few lucid dreams in the past month, but only in 2 of them I was relatively aware of whats happening, while in the others I was semi-conscious and couldnt really do anything. I also forget everything I wanted to do when I go into a lucid dream. Any suggestions on what I should try to increase lucidity and dream length?
#1. When you are Lucid, one of the great things to do right away is tell yourself to stay calm, make sure you are not getting too exitied as well, and treat it normally. #2. If you feel like you are drifting out of your lucid dream, start spinning in circles, as well as rubbing your hands, and remember to stay calm. #3. Lastly, when you are first lucid, make sure one of the first things you do, is take in your surroundings, realize what you can then do, and the power you have, but stay calm. Hope this Helps!
@@johnbarney9226 Thanks! I'll try your tips out the next time I get lucid. The technique I use actually has an exactly 33% success rate for me lol (MILD + ocasionally WBTB)

@@cameron6843 so I actually don't try to enter the dream that way, and haven't yet, although it's a great method. I set my alarm for 3-4 in the morning(because I fall asleep at 11), and when I wake to the alarm, I then start repeating to myself in my head "Next time im dreaming I will know im dreaming", or other mild phrases, then I keep doing that till I fall asleep doing it(takes about 2 mins), and when I enter the next dream(not lucid yet), about 65% of the time I will do a reality check right away when in the dream, and then become lucid. I'm sure this all is confusing, but just keep in mind it takes a while to learn to lucid dream(took me 4 months), but stick to it, keep trying every night, and it will be worth it when you learn(I didn't try every night when It took me four months, so you can probably do it in a month or two).

Why when I do wild my body starts to relax including my airways that they close and I can't breathe and my heart starts beats really fast that makes me need to breathe

@@darkirium1100 I have worse when I was 3 I had a nightmares every day I mean every day u have no idea I was just so scared I day I dreamed about Dora the explorer getting eaten by snakes and then she looks at me and ses you fail me for the last time and it makes me scared she just jumps cares me I had the nightmare today but it was a little girl with I white hair and white eyes u felt good near here her voice facet me like some girl that I liked and then she stud up and throw a arrow in my chest the blood was getting out she laffer but I felt good and then I wake up my grades whent a little bit lower but I got much stronger and soulless even my mother told me to go and see a doctor for no reason like some thing died inside of me I just wanted to cry ahead always apprise in my dreams I am just scared
