An Android was also the first Drift pilot... Kinda makes me think "she" did not have much say in the matter given the date... The Chaos Wyrm, captained by the android Aleksana Guryari in AG 3.
The Androids of Starfinder are very similar in concept to the Mechalus aka the Aleerins of TSR'/Wizard's 1998-2000 era science fiction rpg Alternity (I absolutely still love that game and it's dice mechanics). Nearly a decade later, Wizards resurrected the Star Drive setting for that game for D20 Future (science fiction settings for D20 Modern) and thus adapted for those rules.
I'm a bit fuzzy on the Gap. How would anyone know about the android race origins? In fact the Gap seems to loosely defined. Which book or source has the best explanation on the Gap?
The crb still has the best definition at the moment. History before the gap is intact, the gap happens and approximately 300 years disappear. No records, no memory for that period of time.
u keep calling them robits u know nuthing u silly robit lover they're androids like the phone which is better than appol duh. *people who aren't privy to our past conversations will think I'm being a standard internet person*
"Unless some creature is there that wants to eat you"
-flashes back to my last character
They got eaten?
Crèche means nursery. The "è" makes an "eh" noise instead of an "ae" noise.
Much abliged

Ill have to look into it
Bro said wyrm and my head instantly went “the wyrm, the weaver, and the wyld”
I wonder what would happen in a world of Darkness starfinder crossover @@party-shooter2476

Some good solid rules for a good setting. I don't have much experience with "old" wizards pre 3.5e basically
Space (and the bottom of the sea) are still really dangerous for an Android due to Radiation and Pressure in either case.
I absolutely love the android. Have been playing my android mechanic with exocortex now for over 2 years.
That's a long running game and character!
@@TheMapleTable Well, the last year we only played 3 times due to Covid, but still...

All hail the mighty algo!
@@TheMapleTable Here here! Haha
Probably my favorite core rule book race although I also really like the Shirren and Lashunta.
I should do some more on the core races for newer players

I got the music from White Bat Audio. I don't remember the specific song but their channel is in the description.

Androids are actually a race/ancestry in Pathfinder, I believe even in Pathfinder 1, not just 2!
I love the android so much!
They are pretty neat
