A classic real-time strategy game with an epic single player campaign, multiplayer & coop, set in the alternate reality of 1920+
Iron Harvest is a real-time strategy game (RTS) for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC, set in the alternate reality of 1920+.
You lead hero characters, mechs, and soldiers into battle. Cover mechanics and dynamic destruction play a major role in combat. Your squads take cover automatically, but a simple brick wall will only offer protection against small calibers, not against mech-mounted cannons.
Throughout its open sandbox levels you have to find your own way to reach the goals set by the dynamic story line.
1920+ was developed by Polish artist Jakub Różalski and earned him a cult-following because of his beautiful artworks painted in the style of the old masters.

The World
The game takes place in the world of 1920+, an alternate version of our own world where mankind, fascinated by technology, engines and iron, invented powerful walking machines. Once mighty weapons on the battlefields of the Great War, they are now part of everyday life.
Mighty factions fight for influence, while hidden forces are working towards the destabilization of Europe, determined to set the world on fire once again.
The Saxony Empire is one of the most influential countries in Europe, with powerful industry, developed cities, modern factories and a strong military tradition. After the unfavorable conditions of surrender in the Great War, the current mood in the Empire is bad, and proud elites and humiliated aristocrats secretly oppose the Emperor’s appeasement policies.
The Polania Republic is a large agricultural country with a long history. It is trying to maintain its status and territory, struggling with its aggressive neighbors: The Saxony Empire in the west and Rusviet in the east. Polania initiated a program to modernize its army while a large part of the country is still occupied by Rusviet forces.
Rusviet is huge, powerful, and has unmatched industrial and population potential. However, the country is tired and worn out by the long war. People are frustrated, and the power of Tsar Nikolaj weakens. Mysterious Grigori Rasputin has become an extraordinarily powerful man and revolution is in the air...

@@merkavamkivm5156 that wasn't even a good army, I've played a few matches, the AI he was against must of been on dumb difficulty, because on easy, they still make you work for it.

I like the direction of the game. It looks like it's going to have a pace similar to coh1. I really couldnt get into coh2 because you need fps reflexes to play it.

btw u can upgrade ur resources ( for more income )
this game lacks fast moving mechs and tactical call ins (like off map artillery strikes or air strikes) to break defenses like this.
it's almost impossible to get a breakthrough with the mechs moving at turtle pace, unless you hoard them into a mass of 5 or more.

Steam Punk Company of Heroes. Unit movement seems clunky, specially the mechs, they seem to get stuck on the smallest obstackles they can run over, but I guess this is still in beta right?

Yeah you can put it like that. But I'm still giving them a chance. Not only is the game isn't finished but the company making this isn't really a big one. Heck, this game is maybe the very first game that they have ever made. So yeah I think they deserve a chance.
@@CobraCommander2009 the robots are powered by diesel, not steam. Steam punk is a futuristic technology that is powered by steam.

@@steamknight1207 yeah dude all RTS players really enjoy the slow but sure process and strategy, even half an hour is a pretty fast time for me to finish the game.

Well, no
It is. But the company that made CoH has way more resources than the company that made Iron Harvest. So comparing the 2 is slightly unfair. But I think they still deserve a bit of a praise. The game is clunky but it is playable. The theme is good, and the story is entertaining. The Mech designs are weird but understandable. The only problem is the gameplay. I just hope they improve it more, but it'll obviously take some time.
