a tip for medical words: most of the large words are made up of smaller stems. once you know those, they can be combined and understood pretty easily my mom taught me medical stuff when i was little to help her study
they are safe since they dont inject into the deep dermal layers but superficial layers problem is that people are du mmb and misuse a product they have no knowledge of, the pen itself is safe there are plenty of science backed data to prove that as well.
Even simple things like expired foundation people should be wary of. I started using "X" foundation about 7 years ago and went through a few bottles over time. I then started trying different foundations. I now have quite a bit. I wanted to revisit "X" foundation to see if I still liked it and if the color was still right. Well, I didn't know how old the bottle was and didn't think much of it, but the texture was off, it smelt weird, it burned a bit when applying, but I kept applying it. Wrong move. I then put on the rest of my makeup. Thankfully, I put aside all the brushes I used that day and washed them. Within 20 minutes of applying all my makeup and it looking beautiful, I was washing it off because my skin was burning, and I was already getting patches of red bumps. I got it off quick enough that my face cleared up within a few days, but it served as a warning to me that makeup really does go bad. And if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck, or in my case, expired and unusable makeup.
I studied medicine and even just the idea of injecting myself with insulin was enough to make me get dizzy and all anxious. I got used to it but still had fear and anxiety every time I had to put that injection. And I was sure I knew what I was doing! I can’t imagine this people having such a self confidence to think that they don’t need anatomy, physiology and clinical practice classes to know what they are doing to themselves.
I agree with you on the educational background, it is so necessary to understand the anatomy and physiology of the face before injecting anything that aside the proper use and technique of any device is important, but I have been using this device for years and the injections are not painful at all the only scary thing is the sound, mind you injecting the face you are using 0.01ml at one time max .02 this does not shoot the h.a filler into the deep layers of the dermis rather the superficial layer so it does not reach any major artieres or veins at most a super facial blood vessel but that would just cause a bruise, it is a lot safer than a needle that gets injected into the deeper dermal layers of the skin and you risk actually injecting into an artery or vein. Nurses have caused people damage just as much as a doctor has in many case reports so its all about the knowledge, skill and technique that avoids problems
That’s great they were able to help. Acne can be so hard to deal with. Have you ever tried taking a zinc supplement? Surprisingly I’ve seen that make really positive changes for acne for ALOT of people, including myself. Not all zinc is the same though and the bioavailability is really important.
After watching the guy lipo himself a few times, I have a strong feeling that it’s fake. This looks like a stomach prosthetic that my job rent to customers all the time. I get the feeling one of them is being used in that video because of how the edge of the “skin” is ABOVE the gown he’s wearing. Nothing in that video looks real to me.
That's a relief. I had to get lipo to graft fat somewhere else after a surgery left a dip in my skin... even with a bajillion lidocaine shots that tiny patch felt horrible!! That clip almost made my soul cringe out of my body Dx
I agree. If somene has very thin lips and wants a little filler, I think that's fine. But the huge lips that so many are getting look absolutely ridiclious. Not to mention the surgery that lifts your upper lip, that just looks fake and stupid in my opinion. Big butts - just a big NO with that!
@michealwestfall8544 I think, I hope, they're just talking about the lips that look like hurt from being too stretched from too many injections. The bigger butt thing, the rate of deadly mistakes for a BBL is 1 in 3,000. That's a very, very high rate. They have to really be informed and really want it for it to be worth that risk. And just like with the over-filled lip look, you can overdo any cosmetic procedure to where it looks, or just is, painful and bad. Small changes and long talks with a good therapist before getting more done are what I would do if I wanted and could afford cosmetic procedures.
I have Rosacea. It’s finicky. One wrong product, and I can be looking at 2-3 months of healing. Chemical peel? Not for me. Interestingly, we were on the lake once and I had a hat on, but my face got sunburned-especially my lips. They swelled to 3x their usual size and were so painful. It was painful looking at my face with those full lips. My lips are very thin. I DID learn I did not want filler! Beautiful, full lips are so attractive, but they just don’t fit my face or my other features.
Ya know ive had a lot of insecurities in my life, but would NEVER have done something like this. Especially since it could cause permanent damage and scars depending on what you do and how will these people feel then? Just can we please start using common sense? 😨😩
This is why we insist on counseling at the pharmacy, i know your doctor told you how to use it, but legally i need to tell you what could happen if you use it incorrectly
I had cellulitis, turn into an abscess in my arm. So anyway went to the hospital and they gave me bactrim which I threw up every time I took it. The cellulitis turned into an abscess and my arm was so big and inflamed. When I went back to the hospital after a week I needed to be put on IV antibiotics for a month. I had to have surgery on my arm to remove the abscess. If the abscess would have gotten any worse I might have lost my left arm. Lesson is, don't wait around... Go again if the meds are making you sick.
Dr. Youn, a dermatologist friend told me years ago to only apply products with clean hands and post dipping into them spray a light rubbing alcohol mist over the product bc it inhibits bacterial growth. True or not true?
"Skin products" are mostly made of petroleum. Affordable brands has a sign, after opening the seal there is 12 months until it expires. Actually I think for cleansing the face people should use pH 5,5 products like natural soaps and clean water.
" This has got to be the dumbest DIY I've ever seen.......I.......so I have no words for the stupidity of liposuctioning yourself ......." I can't stop laughing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I lost my upper right lip quadrant due to a vascular occlusion after surgery to remove a melanoma. I’ve made peace with my new face finally but I don’t think there’s any way to fix it. PLEASE AVOID 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Fun Fact: In World War 1 and 2 there was a man who got his hand blown up, and his fingers were dying so he told the doctors to amputate them, which they said “Nah I’m good,” which he responded by saying “FUCK YOU,” and he seriously TORE OFF his fingers with his teeth, no joke his nickname was The Unkillable Soldier or something along those lines.
"Fact" and "fun" are words without any meaning to you, right? This has to be the most obvious urban legend I've ever read. You can't even tell which of the worlds wars he fought in. Neither which country he fought for or where it happened. This story is complete BS. 😂

Those hyaluron pens need to be outlawed and why tf would anyone want to do lipo on themselves???? That's just insane!
Is it being sold as a beauty product or an art tool? Like what were they meant for?
Looked it up and they were developed to be used with insulin?
they are safe since they dont inject into the deep dermal layers but superficial layers problem is that people are du mmb and misuse a product they have no knowledge of, the pen itself is safe there are plenty of science backed data to prove that as well.
pressurised air 'injections' like these were originally meant as a needleless way of delivering insulin, hyaluron pens were always just a cash grab.
