Thanks man! That’s what I think too. It’s not as easy as most of these guys make it look. But to me, it’s much more rewarding to catch them when it’s tough.

Another awesome crank is the rock crawler. In my opinion it beats all others in cold water. And I know it’s not flat but something about it works.
I kind of lump that one with the wiggle wart. Between the Wart, Crawler, and the 6th Sense one. All are pretty good.

idk if you tried this but with the drain plug but put the boat in the water and let it melt then let the water drain out and put it on. I'm from VA where the boat freezes to the trailer after cold nights so I feel your pain!

Lol that carp catch was great! I feel the same way every time I hook up on a carp, dont even wanna touch that stinky ole thing. I just caught a 14lb carp the other day, foul hooked it in the tail on 8lb flouro and fought it for like 15 min. Had to get my custom painted crank back tho...lol

Great job on the video! That orange shad rap is the bomb here in NWA on these Clearwater lakes too. Livescope question? What kinda battery and size do you run for a start battery. I use my start battery for my electronics also. That Livescope really drains my group 27 battery. Need some advice. Feel The Rush!
I use a 31 AGM Pro Guide Battery. It runs all my electronics (4 units) and my motor. It’s the deal.
Been using shad rap for decades in cold water. Long before others talked about it. Been using lucky shad last few years. Do best in water 43-45 degrees. Secret is out now.

Yea, it’s was roughly 22-26 degrees while I was out and my guides were freezing up.

Do you have many problems with your eyes freezing up with braid?
It’s not as bad, but still happens. Typically I keep some line conditioner in the boat and spray the guides. That will keep them from freezing.
