Love all your ideas and fabric choices - I'm looking forward to seeing them all made up. I have the TATB Agnes and would love to see your vlog on how to turn it into a dress.
I've got that same Atelier Brunette double gauze that I bought a few years ago and haven't found the perfect pattern for it! I might copy your Hannah top idea!
I know it seems a bit much but I think maxi for the Lyra. Back in 1994/5 I had a maxi dress very much like the Lyra but only one tier in bright green ditsy flowery viscose and I loved it. I also used to get so many compliments whenever I wore it.
Lovely choices! I’ve some of the gold spot Atelier Brunette in black for ages and have the Anna pattern - going to pair those. Thanks for the inspiration! X
Knee length on the Lyra. Absolutely love the fabric for the Indigo. Also like the By Hand London pairings. On the Hannah, love the tulip sleeves. Looking forward to seeing the video on lengthening the Agnes into a dress.
Just loved the two jersey dresses. I am just getting back into sewing clothing and started the Agnus top yesterday and I have neckband in but not sure how you make the seam lay down properly. It says you can topstitch it but I'm new to this jersey thing and realize I can't use a straight stitch and don't really want a zigzag.Maybe it's just a good hot ironing? These videos are ever so helpful and inspiring.
Fab to see you.I love your choice of patterns and fabrics.I'd go for the maxi length for the first dress it will look stunning. If your not happy you can always shorten it and use the cut piece to make a simple top. I'm a size 22,42g bust 5ft 2" what pattern dress would you suggest for me?I like the smock dresses but I'm not sure if they'd make me look wider and I'd hate to waste fabric.
Love your choices. I am planning to travel to London at the end of August, if the pandemic is under control by then. You are definitely on my list of places I will visit. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.
I’ve made the exact same dress as you have planned (the indigo in the cedar Atelier Brunette fabric!) it’s lovely and floaty, I’m actually wearing it today!
I found your channel over lockdown Sheona, I too have the Hannah dress pattern, with the intention of making a top. I got it out of the pack this week but it doesn’t give you fabric requirements for the top version, so I ended up putting it back on the shelf, I’m only small so don’t want to over buy fabric, then be left a big piece but not big enough to make another garment, what would you recommend?

Love your pattern choices and fabric combo - I would love to be able to sew with an art gallery fabric 😍

I am so happy to see videos from you! I'm interested in how your BHL dress turns out. They've been popping up in my feed more and more so I'm curious!
Love your pics , is there a pattern for the one you have on?

Maxi for the Lyra or it is too much like the indigo.
