    I just ordered my rack! Didn’t know these existed so I’ll be ordering them too.

      @@PrinsuRacks do the load panels come with a rubber insert that runs the length of the crossbars to help reduce rattling? Looks like it comes with a short rubber piece for the shorter side.

    I can put RTT on it right? I just ordered one for my truck without even checking, I just like the aerodynamic design- not so protruding on the truck roof...

      Yes, our roof racks are designed to hold a tent and two adults. 👍

    Can you mount a rotopax without the load panels?

    • @CBIOFFROADFAB
      @CBIOFFROADFAB 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes we have specific rotopax mounts as well that are available on our website.

  • @cdevs67

    Is there a specific mount for shovels, axes, etc that you recommend?

    If I was going to mount a box with recovery gear to the rack... You think I would be better off morning it to the load panels of the cross members?

    • @PrinsuRacks
      @PrinsuRacks  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We have a new vide of us using the crossbars to mount a ROAM case but its all preference. If the load panels work better for you thats great that video is just how we recommend mounting a storage case.

    Can you walk on the those panels?

    • @PrinsuRacks
      @PrinsuRacks  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The weight limit is the same as the rack itself it is about 600 LBS static weight and about 300 LBS dynamic weight. However it is all at user discretion.

    Love the video, but on the website it’s asking for which dimensions? If I have a Subaru Crosstrek 2020, what dimension length should I go with?

    • @PrinsuRacks

      44 inch load panel should work great!

    Can you stand on the rack if you have the rack outfitted with load panels?

    • @PrinsuRacks
      @PrinsuRacks  5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      In theory yes! We do suggest using the crossbars to hold most of your body weight or weight from items you mount to the rack. The crossbars can hold much more than the load panels. You can also add more crossbars to your rack to create more of a platform.

    do you have to have the load panels to mount the max trax?

    • @PrinsuRacks
      @PrinsuRacks  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Gavin Turley At the moment you will need the load panels to mount the MaxTrax. We are working to create our own mounting system for the crossbars. Hopefully they will be released later this year!

    I’m having problems with the panels, the vibrations are really loud if its just on its own, the rubber or plastic fittings on the sides doesn’t help, any suggestions? Aside from just taking it off when not using it? I just hate taking it off and on. Thanks.

      I saw some one loosened the bars and then clamped them together before screwing back down. This got the rid of the wiggle room. www.tacomaworld.com/threads/correct-rotopax-mount-for-prinsu-load-panels.580590/

    Will these increase the dynamic load capacity?

    • @CBIOFFROADFAB
      @CBIOFFROADFAB 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The load panels will not increase the dynamic load capacity. Unfortunately the roof rack can hold a lot more than the vehicles roof structure so the load capacity is determined by the vehicle roof structure and not the roof rack. We have been able to increase the static and dynamic loads possible however by how the roof rack is designed and attached to the roof so you should have plenty of capacity for your needs!

      Hey there! The load panels are not made of plastic. They are constructed of Aluminum and are mounted in the Crossbars. You can reach out to our customer service representatives via email at Info@cbioffroadfab.com.

      Yes, you can mount the Maxtrax to sit parallel (directly on top) of the load panels.
