Main line is Korg MODWAVE and majestic brass pad string thing is ASM hydrasynth. Korg sequenced on squarp hapax. Hydrasynth played into DAW by hand on pads. FX added to sampled lines from Empress ZOIA.
Congratulations again, appropriate electro! You say you have latency problems with Digitakt as a sequencer? It's the brain of my live setup and I sequence 5 other machines with it, everything is perfectly synchronized in my opinion... I really like the bass, is it a Modwave loop?
No real huge latency issues no, just not as tight as my squarp hapax for sequencing other gear(I have a lot!). As for the modwave, yes it was a 8 bar sequence I made with squarp hapax triggering the modwave. I recorded that into the DT and used it as 8 bar loop. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching. :) Its mostly because the DT doesn't have latency compensation so I don't opt to sequence anything with it when I have the hapax. The hapax does have compensation and Its a more robust sequencer in general. Many devices have this issue but none of the companies that make these devices address the issue. Its usually a subtle latency depending on the device you are sequencing, but its an issue if you want super tight timing. Your daw for instance, has this feature, because its necessary. Hapax has been my main sequencer for synths for a long time too so I just keep it for that. If the DT implemented compensation I might use it instead. I did ask for the feature request from elektron but I doubt they'll address it. MPCs and akai force also have this issue. And yes i'm a bit obsessive about tight timing lol.

This is the stuff I wish more people kept putting out. To me, this is truly electronic.
Thanks for checking it out! More to come...

Sweet. Just curious why you didn't use the DT to sequence the Modwave?
