I don t understand how on earth this fantastic song finished 24 place with 4 points. that year Belgium finished last. I still like this song even now after 26 years since then.is very sad that this song ended extremely low in millstreet 1993. is very touching this song. I don t now why I like it so much. this song have something special.

This was not necessarily a competition winner but it is a nice song and, on the night, the first time Israel sang in English at Eurovision. Sarale Sharon continues to perform with her distinctive style of kibbutnik group singing but, after returning to Israel, she was at the receiving end of particularly unkind jeering on Israeli TV including KDAM 1995, which was rather cruel. I think if they had made a stronger adaptation of the real kibbutz style it might have brought in more points but I can see how, on the night, it just slipped past the attention of the juries. Unfortunate and a pity
