What? Do you understand the video? Giving a punishment to a gymnast that is too short and speaks up for herself is not an efficient way to coach. Having the bar clear above the head for someone that is starting to learn pullovers is not the way to teach a pullover. Maybe for someone who has a pullover very well but not for a beginner.
That doesn't mean someone younger or smaller than you can do it. Nobody deserves to be punished for being short. Letting others suffer because you had to is a horrible mentality.
It gives you something to work at and eventually you'll be able to do it. Don't give up just because you can't do it the first time you try.

As a level 6 gymnast this is so true for the younger levels/ anyone struggling with a pullover! every coach should hear this! 🩷
As a level six gymnast, we don’t really have this problem because there’s a tall bar and there’s a Shorty bar
That's nice. Some people do have this problem.
No my coa h thinks I'm not strong enough to do a pull over but it's because I'm short
Ask for a mat :)
As a ten year old step 6 gymnast I can do a pull over a head taller than me
