I deleted my Instagram and Facebook 4 years ago. It was so freeing. I couldn’t ever go back to having it.

I always felt lonely for being the only one not using Social media among my friend circle but this video made me love myself.
I used to have FB and Instagram and it was really a lot to deal with and realized that its not for me anymore. I miss those older days where you would meet up with friends and now nobody has the time, but they have time to post selfies. It seems that those days without social media were better.

I think social media turned into a nightmare. Let’s just live our own lives and share things face to face with our loved ones. When it comes to celebs I’m glad the ones who’s not on social media exist and we don’t see every single thing they do all the time and most likely lose respect. I hope this this social media thing goes away sometime soon

I hate social media and think it’s to blame for the decline of civilization. Ppl are all concerned about how many “friends” and followers they have that they don’t make meaningful connections anymore. And I think it’s to blame for the sense of entitlement and over inflated sense of importance everyone has these days... nobody is important enough that we need to hear or see what you do and think every moment of the day!

Completely agree....the decline of real human relations and connections; lots lots of people (younger generations especially) are not able to truly socialize anymore and they don't even know manners and how to behave in real life. I used to have instagram since I'm into photography, art and design but I stopped using it almost two years ago - I don't miss it and I don't feel the need to keep posting things etc. I sometimes have a look at my favourite IG about design/furniture/decor or skincare etc. or important matters about wildlife and nature (in this case Instagram can be a powerful thing for good reasons) but I really don't get all the people trying to be influencers (of what?) and posting staged photos about staged life etc etc....and the sad thing is that many make lots of money that are based on nothing. Just advertising and that's all. Girls and guys showing off...the fair of vanities, narcissism at its best. The world needs people who have real professions and jobs that can positively contribute to its development; I don't mean we have to be serious and so on..but life is out of the box, it's in the real world...get in touch with people, travel, see things around, experiment and have experience out of the apps. I dunno..maybe I am happy with my life that I really don't feel the need of these socials (I do not have Facebook either) as my life is already sociable and I like real interactions. Technology is part of our lives but real Life is outside.

Notice how these celebs have the approval or limelight that lots of us crave and how social media doesn't interest them. They have had what lots of us want but probably realise that there is more to life hence they don't crave it as much.
