That pesto looks very watery though to be honest, pesto is supposed to be quite concentrated and never like a sauce, meaning it would be good in its original state for any ration as it's packed with calories and taste, watering it down would just be a waste in any case. Thanks for the review, Paul!
A few years ago I bought a bunch of different foreign rations and I definitely think the Russian 24 hour are the best. I had a hard time with the horse meat but it was actually pretty good.
@@PaulsGearReview yeah I haven’t bought one since they have started getting torn apart by customs. As expensive as the foreign rations are it’s quite a risk.
I wonder if this ration was stored in a high temperature. I've had 8+year old IMPs and the fruit pack was lighter. The buns aren't cut all the way through so they don't separate in the pouch and dry out.
@PaulsGearReview I've eaten a 13 year old fruit pack and it looked like pieces of mud but smelled normal and when I tried it it tasted normal just looked disgusting. I made it half way and tossed the rest.
It’s funny how the candy bar is peanut free yet they give you peanut butter and peanuts and almonds. Yeah government contract will drive you looney. Great meal though.

When I got mine a few years ago before covid everything I ordered from overseas nothing ever got hit by them

Canadian rations are usually pretty good

they are good but hard to get I wouldn't trust customs on stuff being sent from Russia now lol
