Despite recent additions like the deep dark and sculk Warden in the recent Wild Update, Minecraft still is a very peaceful game. So I decided to change it by making a Minecraft mod and map to turn it into an intense ghost hunting horror game like Phasmohphobia in order to scare my TH-camr friends!

Hey, play horror games and you'll know that some songs you think isn't scary can turn scary in certain cases... just like this one.

Absolutely earned a sub! An island map plus a custom mod pack adding all the most terrifying mobs available…evolving parasites, advanced zombies, SCPs, aliens, ghosts & maybe a few ice & fire mobs…with some objectives players have to complete to get the boat running in order to escape the island. Add some aggressive ocean mobs which attack classic MineCraft boats & are faster than such boats so players *HAVE* to get the modded ship running in order to have any hope of surviving. Making nights *really* dark where players can only see vague shape 3-4 blocks away & not clearly until 1 block from hitting range. With the amount of area torches & other light sources light up significantly reduced. See who can escape before a massive blood moon on a set day number like 25-50. Just something I think would be really entertaining to watch
This could actually work really well as a full-fledged PvP game. In order to charge up other abilities like breaking the lights and entering a hunt, the ghost player would have to do things like make noise and stay in interact mode. But since the objective of the ghost hunters is to get evidence, the ghost player would have to carefully manage what they did to prevent the hunters from completing their goal. If a way to have multiple ghost hunters was added, a mechanic could be added where evidence is lost on death, so the ghost could have an added priority of targeting the player with the most evidence.
And of course you know this would have to have proximity chat.
That would actually be really cool
Bonus idea: the ghost does not have night vision so they have to rely on the player's flashlights and sounds to find them
*the evidence is lost on death until the player's body is recovered. This gives greater incentive for players to stick together and make collecting evidence a lot harder. To prevent smash and grab tactics. Dead players will have a grace period of 5 seconds before their evidence can be picked up and the ghost has a 4 second cool down in the killswitch after killing a player in hunt mode

Congrats. You're one of the few horror map makers that used a sound that actually sends shivers up my body. I'm not usually one to get goose bumps from horror stuff unless that sound is used. IDK why it's that particular sound but it is. I am not telling which one for my own safety in future horror games lmfao

I love the idea of sending individual hopelessly doomed souls to be swallowed up by the horrifying paranormal universe,but I think it would be interestingly entertaining to do this same idea with like 2-4 people at a time. Just throwing out a friendly idea,I think it would make for some amazingly hilarious content... The different ways you go about creating the ideas that your brain produces and making it a real thing for people to participate in and just be a part of is wonderful and I commend you good sir and all who helped! This is sick! Only suggestion I could think of is a radio item they can equip on their leg slot that you could talk to them through that distorts your voice a bit and plays a sound on the other person’s radio when you drop it do emulate suddenly losing contact
The idea is that you could use it to give them even more of a sense of security before stripping it away from them :]
