Events of the Past (Alpha Version) | Until Dawn

One of many cool videos included in the files of the Alpha 70001 build. This is an early version of the Events of the Past video, which you get for finding all the totems (in the final game, at least), and it features the alpha designs for the twins, Jack, and the Makkapitew.

Most games I wouldn't care for its early builds, but there is something about this game that makes me want to everything there is to know about it.

Same! I think personally what I find a lot of fun is that since UD is already a choice-based game, this version feels like a true alternate universe, where some tiny change in the past ended up with this version of things instead of the version in the finished game. Like a canon AU almost.

It's interesting how much made this into the final version. I understand why different elements were cut. It was important they never actually say "wendigo" in the script during this. It could've given away the twist too early.

well i think the totems weren't created in this version, in the early builds the events video happens when the stranger tells them about it

I like the extra dialogue this version has at the end.

Thanks fo sharing, this is really interesting. It almost feels like an opening cinematic after the first chapter. Although it would give away way too much, ending dialogue is very cool and feels like a hyper.
