@@HotTrackRC Tell me about, a green rc10 and a championship edition re re out soon? Give use some time to save up. A re re every month for the last year.
I get that it's the 60th anniversary for AE so the question is will they continue with this frequency of releases in 2025? At some point the market will wane like it did for the excessive Star Wars releases from Disney. I don't see anything new with the green RC10 except the pan color so I'm passing on that one. The completist will need it in their collection. I haven't heard about the CE release, but it wouldn't surprise me. Apparently, TA flashed an RC10 Graphite on their website. FanRC beat them to the punch but I'm holding out for the official TA re-issue.
Just bronze bushings. Upgrade to a ball bearing kit but note that the front wheel bearings are un-flanged on Jay’s race wheels so the RC10 Classic kit bearings won’t be completely correct. They are 3/16 x 5/16 x 1/8” (no flange) 4x. I see a Jay Halsey bearing kit from Team JB Hobbies on EBay. I haven’t used them before.
Hold up! I just measured the bearing O.D. They are 3/8” which is also different from the original wheels. The manual is incorrect. Clearly states 5/16”. Maybe wait until we sort this out.
JB hobbies is really pretty decent. I got some for my old gold pan cars, as well as my rere 10t. They are very smooth. The price sure is right on them!
When the RC10 re issue came along, it was £200. Now this, no bearings and more than double the price. Absolute piss take and for what, some nobby front tyres!
I hear you. I have another take on it. I just looked at my original RC10 box from 1984. It was $225. I just Googled the inflation calculator for the US. $1 in 1984 is $3.03 today. Yes, offshore manufacturing has offset some of this increase but not all. It's unfortunate it's so expensive to export these kits to other countries. I've heard crazy numbers on freight and duty. Sorry about that.
Another great unboxing, thank you. Very cool kit!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome, this is the kit I was waiting for. Great video, thanks for sharing!

I know right? I thought maybe there was a gold bar in mine. Sorry about the shipping.

I swear AE mentioned the body came pre painted blue?
I heard chatter on that but can’t find anything documented. Anyone know the color code?
Does it come with bearings
