I used Duratrax Brilliant Blue but it's a couple shades lighter than Jay's body was. I like it but if you want the correct color, you'll have to search for something darker. Thanks!
Came out great. I really enjoyed watching your video as it gave me a better sense of how to tackle putting on the decals. Again, very helpful and If I end up getting a JH edition I'll be referring to your video again. Thanks and keep up the wonderful work.
I was waiting for this episode lol! I have the paint and Tamiya masking tape in route to do this 'old school' but I think you did a fantastic job. Outstanding job on the body cutting, fitting, and finishing touches with the dremel as well. Funny, I didn't blink an eye painting my first Rc10 protech body at 12 years old in 1985; all without the benefit of proper lexan scissors', body reamers, window masks and the internet as a guide but for some reason, I'm stressing over doing this kit some justice😀
Cracking job, ive got mine to paint and sticker so its good to see how best to tackle it. I was tempted to get it painted in the colours. But, im gonna attempt the stickers 😁
Looks like you did an excellent job on the decals although the best solution for me would be to paint the livery! I think Associated would do well to release different body kits with various famous liveries from Cliff Lett, Brian Kinwald, and Masami Hirosaka.
Great video, love doing bodyshells, best part of the model 😊
beautiful build!
Thank you!
Nice job bro!
Yup I'm getting this one
I'm sure glad you posted this video! My first build. This helps a lot. Thank you
Outstanding video once again. Bravo
I really appreciate that. Thanks.
Looks fantastic! Well done sir😀👍
Thanks!
What blue paint did you use? Looks great! Following a long during my build

Awesome. I’m glad it’s helpful. Thank you.
You did an amazing job with the body. The other hole on Jay Halsey original body is for the transponder not antenna :)
Ah, thanks for the info!

Yeah, I didn’t have much in the way of tools back in the day. That’s just the way it was and I didn’t know any better. Good luck on your project!

Thanks! I like your idea.
Damn yelling ...nope not sticking around.... loud as hell.
I did an absolute garbage job on mine lol those decals are sooo difficult!
Yeah, they’re really difficult to place well. I was a little stressed.
