you are an amazing teacher, I am 56 years old and have been crocheting since I was 8 years old, and I am still learning still getting my head around the American terms lol, keep up the good work. xx
Hi, I thought your video was so good. I finished my virus blanket and decided to do a square edging then continued with several more rows of different stitches. Thank you for your excellent instructions.
Hi...My grandma and mom taught me how to crochet yrs ago...way back when I was around 7. But as is common, life kids jobs got in the way. Fastforward to now, I'm disabled and spent a fair amount of time sitting and watching great vidoes like yours. You are am amazing teacher!!! I found your page only today and I'm already hooked (so to speak)!! Ive been searching for a new blanket to make and I'm sure I found the right ones here!!! Also, Ive never subscribed to a channel before...until now. Thanx so much and Happy Crocheting, my friends!!!
+Lisa Swaney I'm so flattered you have chosen my channel to subscribe to!! Thank you so much. 💕 I hope you love making the blanket! Thank you for watching, commenting and subscribing!! Have a lovely crochet day.
Thank you!!!! I made some beautiful squares with very fine yarn, and wanted to join them to make a table runner. Nothing has worked so far. THIS is exactly what I need for it. Perfect!! Thank you!!
I’m working on my first virus blanket right now. I was wondering about how I was going to finish the edges. Now in know. Perfect timing. Thank you! 😊☀️
Thank you so much for this and all your videos,I really appreciate you because you are not too slow and for those that know our stitches its really good.
Jonna Martinez i have watched many videos, and you have been my favorite, you show clear visuals, and explain precisely the steps you nees to do, the stitches, etc making it so eazy to follow without getting frustrated. My only complaint is you need to make more videos!! ill post a picture of my blanket in comments if i can below when its done (which will hopefully be by tonight)!!
Hi Joanne. I am new to crochet and love your tutorials. Could you please tell me the stitches I would need to do to put a straight edge on a 7dc shell blanket? (The pattern reads 7dc followed by 1 sc to make the valley) thank you in advance
I am new to your page as of today. I enjoy making the virus shawl, and I was wondering if I could edge a shawl this way? Thanks for posting this. Take care and God bless!
+Lisa Strahan yes you can! Just start at the corner. (Look at it like half way through a corner on my video) And when continuing with other rows you will have to turn. Thank you for watching and commenting 🌸🌸🌸🌸
So nice 🌟🌟🌟 I don't get it how can some people give you disliked for this video because it a learning if you don't like it go and look for another video don't crash hope 😤
Yes, it is nice. To answer your question about those who dislike the video, I believe it has more to do with managing TH-cam than the actual video. You see, if you watch and/or like a video, after that you will then see many similar videos on the main page of TH-cam. But sometimes one doesn't want to see 45 other videos just like the one they're watching. So, to avoid this, they click the dislike and they don't see any more like it. So I think the thumbs down/dislike is more about discouraging videos than about actually not liking this one. It is sort of selfish of those people, but it isn't a personal slur against the video or channel.
Hi! I have made a virus blanket using your video and would like to try this border. I have a quick question though...if I am doing more than one round (like say 6 rounds of sc), would I need to increase stitches at all to keep it from puckering or cupping?
Hello! That’s great! Yes in the corners you want to add more stitches, so into the very middle stitch on the 2nd round I would sc chain 2 sc, then keep adding sc ch 2 sc into the chain space on each round. Thank you for watching and commenting.
@@JonnaMartinezCrochet I found one for a shawl but wasn't sure how to proceed. Might give it another go since I am a little over half way with 4 corner poncho. I really like watching your video's. It was the reason I know how to do the virus items.
