I love the colors you chose, and I have found, a shortcut is always the longest way!!!Thank you very much for the chalk painting lesson! Very beautiful! I also love the wallpaper , it was worth all the extra effort! Gorgeous!
You are absolutely right Penny! with this home I have learnt this lesson twice and now I will not be ever tempted by any shortcuts....It ends up costing 3 times more money, time and energy.....Thank you ! Yes I'm very pleased with the final result !

Laetitia what fun!! I love to see you using the dark wax, it can be intimidating, but what depth it creates, is that Provence the color you used? How would you feel about if I shared some of my painted pieces on a workshop group? I understand if that wouldn't work. Your studio is a delight!! Can't wait to see the completed project!!xx
Thank you Mary Anne , yes it was fun playing with these waxes , I added too much wax on the table , but was more careful for the book shelves. I think the name of the paint was Florence, maybe you could show us your furniture innthe christmas skypes coming this fall or if you take part to the fairy tale home decor workhop in the skypes. I'm not sure we will have some facebook groups for the upcoming workshops, but we will have some skypes Thank you!

Quick question though, Wouldn't the green of the table bounce a greenish hue onto what ever you are working on much like if the walls were green? I was just wondering because I was going to paint my work surface and was worried about painting it certain colors because of the lighting effect.

Thank you! no the hue on the table has nothing to do with this light very powerful hue I had with the dirty mint green I had on the walls, this color is much darker and my work table is always full of mess, so no alot of green can show anyway ;) but kept in small places the turquoise, green is fine The prurple slim hue I have on the walls wins the hue fight ! But it's good to think about that for sure for your work table , green and turquoise are always tricky colors , and the fact that it is shiny or mat can also make a difference.
