I rode in a customer of mines TRX before he sold it for a profit. My consensus was the TRX felt like it was maybe a little faster on the big end but my 16’ 3.92 rear gear whipple regular cab sport, is hands down faster out of the hole. 4wd auto launches are insane for a truck. Haven’t even tried to foot brake it.
I used to be a Chevy only guy. Now I am not brand loyal and it's pretty fun. Sometimes it doesn't work out ( mustang, and an f150) but it's enjoyable to experience the difference between them.
I would never be able to test drive the TRX. I'd sell my house and have to live in the Ram. I bought my Ram from Barbara's. They always had everything there.

That Ram TRX is very nice but don't count out the Ford Raptor R with the 760hp Supercharged 5.2 liter V8 out of the Shelby GT 500. I'm a 23 year veteran building them now in Southwest Detroit, Michigan. Try to limit the click bait though!

Had a supercharged 426 1500 and always wanted to meet up with you but never did. Would have given you and that TRX a run for its money. Sold it but will get back into another hemi project before they come to an end in 2023. :) Going to use HHP instead of that MickyMouse place in Lakewood. LOL

It would be great if they had built a street truck as well. Its incredibly built for high speed off roading. That in its self is a nitch market. I remember the viper trucks, and how long some set on the lots. Some dealers were going out of buiness during that time, and they reduced the prices by 25,000 dollars. There are a lot of loyal Ram owners that are pissed over the dealer bump on that truck. I have owned ram trucks for years now, dodge vans since the early 1980s. I have had larimie off roads, a SST and others today we have two ram sports that are loaded, and a SRT 8 Chrystler 300. I looked at the TRX a couple of weeks ago, and honestly for the money a bighorn with the off road package you can get for mid to high 40,000 dollar range. But then I am not into off roading so much i want to do 100mph over sand dunes out west. My 2017 Sport 4x4 has air bags with it being my choice to lift or not. The truck market is overpriced with 80,000 dollar fords etc. SRT has been bought out so i think this may be the last series of high hp cars and trucks from Dodge, and Ram. I hate to admit it but we had looked at one not for sale at a lot, my Wife and I would have went for it if it was for sale. They are the finest that Ram has ever made. Even if your not flying through sand dunes with it!
We were all for selling our 300 and getting a durango SRT or a Charger scat pack wide body. No dealer was very intrested in locating one for us, one dealer tried to talk us into a charger scat pack plain jane with cloth. On the test drive down shifting had a loud clunk in the tranny. No way. Our 300 has Track, Sport, and launch control, and a whopping 8,000 miles. We decided to keep it add a few mods and better tires.
There's no way a stock TRX is out running the Whipple Ram. Now if you get a TRX and bless it with Nick sprinkles, Jesus Christ... I'll call 9 seconds now. Here's an idea, you should get one and turn it into a drag truck. No one else has that content yet. If anyone does it, why not you! (But don't trade the Whipple Ram) Be the first. If you make it, they will come. I'm following the journey of the Whipple Ram, you could open a new chapter with a TRX. Just saying... Loving the content, keep it up.

U might beat that trex ram in the 1/4. The rex ram I'm assuming is four wheel drive. If it is then it's heavier. U probably have a higher stall converter with a more aggressive cam. I could be wrong. But ur truck kicks ass. Thinking about replacing my 5 speed to the 8 speed
