Lotte has become a beautiful young woman. When I saw tears in her eyes it made me very sad indeed. But as a father myself of 4 kids, two daughters, it sparked a lot of wonderful memories. Thank you for sharing Lotte's life with us.
Your lucky, i was doing month by month with my daughter, then at 16 she refused me taking any more photos of her. Now she is 19 and has just had her first child, hope she remembers what i tried to do for her and does this for my granddaughter. Some things we do in life means so much. loved the time lapse, she has grown up to be a beautiful woman.
This made me cry. I know how it is, I am a father as well. Seeing my kids grow up with all their struggles and victories. May god bless them and keep them as they move out to start a life on their own. Thank you for sharing
Thanks to god her existence never bother you. I was an ugly, stupid, asocial, timid and whiny child. No one loved me, including my family. Maybe my parents loved me, but I can't believe what I didn't see.
Having a child that talks to you as they grow...that must be an extraordinary feeling. And continues to be engaged into their twenties? That's...priceless.
I couldn't watch more than 45 seconds before I burst into tears. My youngest is 2, and to think how fast time goes and how precious every moment is, and thinking about how much I will miss these times one day, well it's too much to bear.
what an amazing thing you did..to see your lovely daughter grow up and be allowed to see it..shes a beautiful young girl with hopefully a long life ahead..I wish her all the best in her future
0:11 looks just like my 6 month old and now I'm crying in less than a minute. This is beautiful, trying to stay in the moment and soak up every moment. I'm going to miss this baby but can't wait to see who she grows into.
As a Dad of two girls this made me feel the same as so many others here felt; seeing them grow up has been the greatest privelige anyone can ever have, but I still find myself mourning those days when they were toddlers, you know at the time you can't hold onto those times, but you miss them all the same. Just as I know in the future how I'll feel when I look back at them as they are today.
Man, I shake your hand! Well done for being able to make such a recording within 20 years! I’m 43 years old and how I regret that I didn’t do the same!
She turned out so lovely, and I love her sense of style. I saw someone comment that there were a few sad faces, but to me it makes sense that over 20 years there would be at least a handful of sad faces. Sometimes life is hard, especially dealing with other teens at school, but it looks like she was happy the majority of the time 😊
Hello Frank. This video I watched hundreds of times. I cried the fiirst time I watched this masterpiece. Lotte is cute. Greetings from Chivilcoy Argentina.
Interesting video. I noticed that when she got to be around age 16, and above, there seemed to be a lot more sad expressions, on Lotte's face, than in earlier years.
Beautiful baby, kid and lady. Beautiful idea. I wonder how many things are gone during these '5 minutes'. P.s. I guess if you want someone to fall in love with, you just have to make him see this video 🤭
Crazy to watch the light leave someone's eyes like this she was more happy than sad till 17. Then 17 - 20 seem to be more sad days than happy. As is life I guess. Either way makes me look at my girls a little differently since my oldest is 15 and my youngest is 12.
I guess comments were turned off for a while because, well, internet people? Cool project! Wish my parents had done something like this for me. Hopefully I'll get to do something similar with my kid(s) if I ever have any.
Leben eben. This long-term documentary is - for girls and boys alike - proof again and again (because there are several of them) that childhood is the change from a funny caterpillar to a wonderful, freedom-loving butterfly... that's how I would compare it. And this path - you can see it on every face more and more every year - is rich. Rich in experience, good and bad, happy and sad. Just life.
From literal baby, to the new HR girl about to fire me from the job I had before she was born 😁 I jest. It's interesting how around 16, the big smiles mostly disappear and she has more days when she feels off and just decides to glare at the camera. You can literally see the death of childhood happening in realtime
Its is funny to see how puberty changes behavior.... before she couldn't stop talking during the film session, then she stops talking so much... interesting!
I'm almost 62 years old, and I have maybe 3 photos of myself before my 7th year. Only a handful since.
This project is a treasure for them.

People cry for several reasons, don't be sad.

Damn so you're a grandfather and also have a minecraft pfp, wicked ngl

My daughter is 21 years old now. And yes, it feels like I saw her come into the world just five minutes ago.
Wow, that means your daughter is one year older than me😍, I'm a girl to
Thanks to god her existence never bother you. I was an ugly, stupid, asocial, timid and whiny child. No one loved me, including my family. Maybe my parents loved me, but I can't believe what I didn't see.
Iam a boy and today is my birthday @@karuiihikaru
I really appreciate your good momy feelings
As a father of a 26 year old daughter, this video hit me in the heart. Thank you for sharing.

And you will, hold onto these moments, they are so precious.
This is what we are. We have all been this baby. We can't hold on to anything.
Very powerful edit, thank you for sharing!

Hi! We welcome comments!
Thank you,
Frans Hofmeester.
Man, I shake your hand! Well done for being able to make such a recording within 20 years! I’m 43 years old and how I regret that I didn’t do the same!
She is so lovely. A miraculous sequence.

The dedication, the focus, the subject - beautifully done.
Hello Frank. This video I watched hundreds of times. I cried the fiirst time I watched this masterpiece. Lotte is cute.
Greetings from Chivilcoy Argentina.
What a good idea. She should continue to do it. She can watch it and remember moments in time that make her life. Awesome.
This just reminds me of how short life is - enjoy your kids, because they grow up in the blink of an eye.
Amazing how much she looked like her brother for the first two years of her life. Anyone would think it was the same kid in both videos.
Ah this makes me sad. It hurts cos life goes so fast. Glad you have this video
Interesting video. I noticed that when she got to be around age 16, and above, there seemed to be a lot more sad expressions, on Lotte's face, than in earlier years.
I think that first love and first disappointments
Hormones......
Imo I think it’s because around that age you realize you’re almost an adult and you can’t go back, you’re not a child anymore
I saw that, too. Felt like something in her died around 16. Sad. Wishing her the best.
that’s what happens when you grow up
I'm sure this father, in the silence, when watching the video alone, cries.
Wow. Her eyes never died. Sometimes people’s eyes get cold and bitter as they age. What a blessing.
It still amazes me how you can see the exact moment in her eyes when she experienced the real world just like we all did when we became adults.
Magnificent.. It takes me directly to remember all the phases of my daughter Júlia's growth
When you have any time as a parent to do such photo and video: congratulations.
Prachtig.
Wow!! Beautiful…time is precious…
My daughters were born yesterday. Now they are teens. When this time passed... Life is short...
I like how some of these photos captured different emotions
I have a 20 year old daughter and it seems time went this fast.
from one Frans to another, bravo
Thank you Frans! 👊🏽
My 3 girls turned 25, 27 and 30 this year! (Son is 28). Enjoy it while you can, time goes by fast!
She has so many different styles that look good on her. Very cool.
All those emotions, ups and downs. Priceless.
made me cry, just such a beautiful thing to watch
Have a happy life, Lotte!
Wonderful, simply wonderful!
Thank you for sharing this it is good to see and respect the passage of time hope life is well.
Amazing how much a teen can change in just one year.
Truly amazing frans😮🙏🏻😊
Beautiful baby, kid and lady.
Beautiful idea.
I wonder how many things are gone during these '5 minutes'.
P.s. I guess if you want someone to fall in love with, you just have to make him see this video 🤭
This made my heart happy 🥹😭♥️💯!
Beautiful from the first moment
❤so eine wundervolle Erinnerung 🥰
Wahnsinn.. das nenne ich Durchhaltevermögen!

Touching! There is beauty in sadness too.
i always wondered what's it like to be a dad but when ill become a dad ill film both my son and daughter everyday
Love you dude, hope yall do good in life ❤
As a father of three kids under 5, I can confirm my heart is broken. 👍
At 19 she seemed to really embrace adulthood.
From a baby to a cute girl. Great job, man. Regards
I come here often, for music and life
What a fun video. I wonder how many different cameras Lotte outlasted...
Nun sind schon wieder 5 Jahre vergangen. Führt es fort!
I guess comments were turned off for a while because, well, internet people? Cool project! Wish my parents had done something like this for me. Hopefully I'll get to do something similar with my kid(s) if I ever have any.
You have a beautiful daughter sir.
That’s life,beautiful and sad.
Amazing!
Thanks!
They grow up so fast
Your baby girl grew into a beautiful young lady.
Cheers to all of us with daughters whom we love so very much...
Surely you can continue to chronicle the upcoming years? Hopefully there will be a version of her at 40.
So, that's how it feels to have a child? First you held them as infant, then blink of an eye they are now 20 years old 😭
Super cool. How long was each clip you filmed per week?
20 to 30 seconds...
These videos always freak me out lol
Seeing life go by so fast and whatnot lol
Makes me cry!
Good looking kids you have sir.

0:15 not her throwing up 😭
I thought I was the only one 😂
She changed a lot. Her face when she was little was totally different. For example my face at the age of 7 was very similar to when I was 20.
Looks as tho she never quit talking constantly until age 17. 😊
She looks very similar to my daughter who is now 19 months old. It would be wonderful if she would become just as beautiful. 🥰
As a baby she is so cute 🥰
Please keep going!
This looks about how fast my daughter grew up. She's 33 now.
Fascinating
She speak a LOTTE , she is beautiful, what a marvel . That make me kind of sade too, seinging my 7 year old son growing up that fast.
Keep going please
Wow! I remember when she was just a baby.
Mooi Frans
Shes definitley a real person
heartwarming ...
Life is short. Make the best of time spent.
She went from child to 20 with no in-between right around 2:50
Keep it going, 20 to 80...then we will all see the pains of LIFE.
From literal baby, to the new HR girl about to fire me from the job I had before she was born 😁

Beautiful young lady.
Curious, at what age did she suddenly know everything, and you knew nothing?
Lol!
TO COŚ PIEKNEGO MŁODOŚĆ JEST PIĘKNA
I kinda of wish I was able to do this with my son.
....WOW !... I'M JAVIER FROM 🇦🇷
lolol
Das ist ein schöner Film. Nur die Musik ist supernervig.
Warum
Its is funny to see how puberty changes behavior.... before she couldn't stop talking during the film session, then she stops talking so much... interesting!
suuuch a beautiful girl.
No ugly duckling here. She started as a Swan and stayed a Swan.
How older she is so unhappier she is thats live 😮
