I like how Rocky is just one big life lesson in the disguise of a boxing film.
I want to see more Rocky Films .....I don't want them to end 😔
They're very re-watchable! But I feel you!
THERE'S A REALLY AWESOME DELETED SCENE OF THE SCENE WHEN THEY'RE IN THE ALLEY AND PAULIE JUST HAD HIS TANTRUM AND HE'S GOT THE PAINTING IN HIS HAND!! IT'S A VERY EMOTIONAL AND TOUCHING SCENE WHICH I WISH THEY WOULD HAVE INCLUDED IN THE FILM BECAUSE IT REALLY GIVES A DIFFERENT VIEW OF PAULIE'S CHARACTER!!! ❤😢
From what I heard, that scene where getting denied license was an allegory of movie comps passing on this movie. Stallone was pursuing happiness, but had a hard time convincing anyone this movie would work
The statue is still their, they moved it to the side of the stairs, too many people were taking photos and getting in people's way
They, fellow Rocky fan! (…still get goosebumps when watching these films!🥰…) You don’t have to stop, because the franchise ‘still continues’ through Creed!!! What you love about the Rocky films, are carried over wonderfully into the Creeds…there are 3 of them! Hope to watch them with you!
Take care! Nobody can love you like God loves you! 🙏🏾💗🥰💪🏾
Unpopular opinion: Rocky Balboa is the second best movie in the franchise... after the original of course.
That's largely because of the speech or lecture that he gave his son. That is some of the best writing and acting of Stallones career.
I took my Mom to see this movie when it came out. Rocky was one of her favorite characters as well as mine. When she passed in May, I spoke at her memorial service and quoted Rocky's line to his son about life. Throughout all of the physical pain and challenges my Mom dealt with, she kept moving forward. I miss her dearly, but I'm so grateful to have shared this movie with her.
I've seen all the Rocky/creed movies because they had a special of all the movies a few years ago however being born in 1980 Rocky Balboa was the first movie I went to see at the movies and I took my father
I took my dad
Talia shire was very supportive of the decision to kill Adrian, even though she had already signed onto the movie before they decided to kill her.
Stallone made sure she received the full pay they had previously agreed on, listing it as payment for archival footage.
Spider Rico was the guy who head butted him in the very beginning of Rocky 1. Later, Rocky told Micky he won & when he said against who, Mickey said he was a Bumb.
Yep spider was the first fight in the original movie opening
That speech is single handedly one of the best most heart-felt I've ever seen in a movie & ive seen a lot of movies. Its so powerful. This film is so underated it hurts, it's a beautiful end
R.I.P., Burt Young (Paulie).
There's a deleted scene with both Rocky and Paulie outside the restaurant in the same alley.
Paulie's emotions are truly real enough for Adrian.
There's a really beautiful deleted scene with Rocky and Paulie talking in the alley outside the restaurant. A real shame they cut it, but the video is available. It really added something to Paulie's character.
People compare Stallone to Arnie a lot, but back in those days they trod a very different path. Stallone has told some really emotional stories.
Great job with the series! Make sure you check out Paulie's deleted scene from this movie. It's criminal they cut it.
Rocky has got to be the most likable character in fiction
Creed, basically ‘continues from here’…but from a different scope. They brought Rocky’s genetics to Creed! Wondering story, acting & pays great tribute to the Rocky story! There are 3 Creed films…all, to me, are good to excellent, in different ways, for different reasons.
God loves, like no one else does! 🙏🏾💗🥰💪🏾
Hi Reema!😊 In the original script Adrian was still alive. But, they thought for the growth of the Rocky character she should be deceased. The Rocky statue was removed in real life. The museum thought it was an ugly Hollywood prop. But, after a lot of debate the statue was returned, and is enjoyed by tourists today. The Mason-Dixon Line is actually the cultural boundary between the North and South (Dixie) in America. Stallone was 60 years old when this was filmed. Great reactions to the final film in the Rocky franchise, Reema!!!🎬👏👏👏👏
I love this ''Sylvester Stallone Antonio Tarver Burt Young'' this is respect...
The funny lines like when Marie tells him her son's dad is Jamaican. Rocky says "Jamaican, ahh European!" 🤣🤣 just great attention to detail to keeping up the idea of underlying brain damage over years of fighting. Stallone is masterful at these subtle things. In the first movie he's asked about hitting the meat for training. Rocky says "I invented that".😂😂 Genius!!
i was watching your rocky series again, i think it was one of the best reactions,
i stopped on the scene, where rocky is revisiting, and he is at the ice rink, It made me think, in 1982, i met my wife on the ice rink, in the north east UK, and that has been torn down also, we had and made many firends there through the 80's, many couple met there went onto have familes. we all sort of moved apart, we were teens, met the love of your life like rocky, we caughted and got engaged married, got jobs and built our own lives, friendships were also left behind, we have no mobile phones or internet or anything like that then to keep in touch, not like today, house phone was all we had
Your channel is phenomenal. ❤
Look at the deleted scenes. Where Paulie and Rocky are in the alley behind the restaurant. Also the alternate ending where Rocky wins.
The statue is now back at the bottom of the steps of the museum but at this time it was moved to the Philadelphia spectrum. No one wanted this movie made because of part V so the city didn't comply putting the statue at the top of the steps so that's why it was written in
This was the perfect movie to bring Rocky back for a new generation of fans.
Hi Reema Rocky is my favorite movie all Rocky movies are great but It’s tough and sad that his wife died but happy endings are always good ❤❤❤
It took 3 years to write the script for part 6.
Catching the flavor of the original and just in time for the 30th Anniversary.
The fight was the first thing they filmed in Mandalay Bay, to be as real as possible.
Antonio Tarver (Mason 'The Line' Dixon) was a real-life boxer in his film debut.
Showing off that Rocky's opponents aren't always bad people.
Dixon himself had to prove that he was worthy of being a champion to let go of his ego.
Rocky's character has endured for so long and still stays humble.
The speech to Rocky Jr. is the best dialogue of the film and that will always be remembered.
This was the beginning of a whole new resurgence for Stallone as an actor & filmmaker.
Afterwards came John Rambo aka Rambo IV (2008), The Expendables (2010-2014),
Bullet To The Head and the Escape Plan trilogy (est 2013), etc.
Not too mention, he raised his physique to unbelievable levels in his late 50s/early 60s.
Sly Stallone has truly proven as Lil' Marie said "The last thing to age is the heart".
RIP to Tony Burton (Duke Evers Sr.) & Burt Young (Paulie) in their last appearances of these films.
It took way longer to write this script than 3 years. Stallone was writing what would eventually become this movie back in the late 90s.
A reviewer online I recall wrote on how rocky balboa was the prefer r sequel. And the reviewer said this and I’m paraphrasing it, when Rocky came out in 1976 no one could know the journey the characters would take. How the movie sprawled the most successful sports franchise and would inspire many others and entertain millions.
And the core character, Rocky, became an icon of growing up and the underdog event when he had a robot. So seeing Rocky FADE AWAY the reviewer write ws Rocky becoming more than just a famous chrcater in a franchise, he became a mythological figure.
Stallone was told to cut over half an hour of footage. This movie has some great deleted scenes
The sponsership for the george foreman grill was offered to hulk hogan, thunderlips in rocky 3, he turned it down and it was then offered to george forman
You are so lovely. Perhaps lovely enough to understand Paradise Alley. Stallone's first written screenplay. It contains all the secret jewels of the Rocky franchise with a few hidden messages. Really a great movie if given the chance. Like Punchy only Bunchy.
great reaction!
Now you need to watch Creed 1, 2 and 3!
PLEASE CONTINUE on the Rocky movies!!!! Actually, there are 2 more movies to go. "Creed 1 and Creed 2"! Sylvester is in both those movies and plays Rocky Balboa! Both are excellent films and well worth your time. I just wanted you to be aware.
I'm a huge Rocky fan since I was a kid and watched the Rocky II on tv in the early 80's; then watched Rocky III in the theater when t camre out. The only two things I didn't like about Rocky Balboa was the person who played Rocky's opponent and how they filmed the fight scene. Other than that good movie; I liked Rocky through Rocky IV better though.
36:26 I feel the same 😉
Damm, I was 2 by the time this came out, lol
the statue is still there, they moved it to the bottom of the steps
they were doing but tours to run the rocky steps, as you saw at the end of rocky balboa, i think they said it was for health and safety, but im not 100% sure,
I'm so glad you got to this one. Thank you.
Muito emocionante esse sexto filme virou um clássico instantâneo.
i think there are 2 franchises, i think you may enjoy, expendables, star studded action with little comedy, i think this would be up your street
Btw,getting short armed, or small hit jams the wrist and is naggingly painful. Usually a self inflicted and persistently mental suffering.
It would have been an even better ending if Adrian had popped up out of the grave after Rocky said, "yo Adrian, we did it" and proceeded to vomit green goo. Then Rocky part 7 would be Rocky fighting the zombie Adrian ghoul.
Now that you finish the Rocky series, I hope you'll check out Rambo. Rambo First Blood Sylvester Stallone give another great proformance. Great reaction really glad you enjoyed them all.
I see you’re wearing Coco Chanel…
Ever seen the bit where Bill Burr talks about her? 😎🤔
RIP Burt Ward aka Uncle Paulie, Rocky didnt need to win the fight. There is a video of a kid who meets Sly and tells Sly the same speech Rocky told his son it was awesome to see.
Watch the Creed movies
Uma pena você ter reagido a Creed antes de Rocky.
es cierto, pero aún así fue muy convincente
Have you seen the classic Music movies like Purple Rain, the Commitments, Grease…should react to those
The Commitments is a fun movie.
You watching avatar the way of water
Are u gonna watch the rocky series ?
I hated to end. Adrian was my girl
Yes but Adrian's untimely death gives Rocky all the motivation he needs
Exactly if she were alive he wouldn't even think about fighting again which would defeat the purpose of the movie
Why skip the rocky Series u half to watch the rocky series first to get to the rocky Balboa movie
@@jakecollins4545 oh she did my bad
damn you ain't even paying for the content you are reacting to? a pirate can always spot another pirate
All this fight proved was in his prime Rocky would have taken this bum out easily.
