Ive updated mine a few times since owning it and never done a factory restore after updating despite videos on you tube saying to do it. When updating from my phone it restarts it and says successful when checked. Everything works fine and lrf ballistics spot on. Am i doing the right thing as im basically too lazy to put all the information in again.
@@TheNightVisionShow awesome 👍 thank you. Now need to figure out how to raise the LRF box as it's so low, currently I'm on -31 on elevation, was thinking of raising the front of the scope but then I may lose elevation when hunting
Im still really impressed with mine. Lol... both lads I shoot with have shelled out having seen mine in action. Lol... almost alien when I had to dial in 'old school' on the .243 last week 😂... just cant beat real glass in the daytime though once you go out past 250 yards or so.
Just updated as per your latest video . Many thanks

Hi, should always do a restore if you ever run into any issues that would be the first port of call.
So you can update these via the phone app when connected?? Alpex 4k 🙂
hi yes thats one of the ways to do it or can do it via a pc.

Hopefully, one day, they'll update the scope to use yards & FPS on the ballistic menu 🙄😴
Threes a lot more they need to do and could do on the software onboard and the app
This is something that should have been addressed a long time ago!!

Hi, digital scopes will never compare, but not far off we have seen them being used well out over 500 yards.
Excuse my ignorance (I’m an old infantry grunt) thick as a whale meat sandwich. Can I do this through my iPad as I don’t have a mobile. Cheers
Hi, yes along as you download the hiksight app you can pair a iPad same as a phone.
@@TheNightVisionShow picked one up this morning and did an update. Worked a treat, many thanks.
