Love the wrap on this bike! Years back motogp legend Valentino Rossi had a one off championship bike done up white, with blue Hawaiian flowers. Looked just as amazing, well done!
Just watched your cycling video and it's absolutely stellar! It's not just being added to our collection, but also shared with all our cycling buddies.
Last summer I did my first race since college on a YT szepter core 3.... this video captures what is great about gravel. I'm planning on 5 races this year... I'm no pro I'm more a "spirit of gravel" guy you know beer and suffering but somehow still finishing middle of the pack even though I don't have a formal training program... OH and I cannot forget my epic beard this all said this was an epic video and I am looking for more from this brand. PS to anyone on the fence coming from mountain bikes..... this bike loves tail whips and jumps that make you think no bleeping way.... I would've finished higher in the standings too if I didn't spend so much time at the aid stations.... OK enough about the race but going further into the wilderness and seeing more stuff around where I live (near Tahoe so epic views) this bike conquers most terrain BUT is light enough to make hike a bike not suck on truly awesome adventures!
Great video and story with beautiful photography. Agree with others there is a extreme shortage of stories and coverage of events like this. And Sami is a beautiful woman with an equally beautiful soul. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
Great piece of film making. I enjoyed the documentary nature of this piece. Keep it up YT! Even though I am a YT customer and fan, I wouldn't have seen this if Strava hadn't featured it in this month's newsletter.
I remember you from 8bar races in Berlin and from Outskirts Route 66, but now your English has changed from an American accent to a mix between British and Aussie, sounds good, cool that you can live from biking. You had lots of knee pain in other videos and now it is your hip, pain sucks, mine is the lower back. Me gustó mucho el video, esas carreras deben costar mucho dinero para alguien sin patrocinios, ojalá sigas creando videos y contenido. Saludos desde Alemania.
I want to do this race in 2 years but I don’t know….if 6months of training for her led to the finish she had, and she is a professional…what about me….a regular joe lol
The paint on that frame is beautiful. VERY NICE. Shame they didn't set up the seat post correctly. That's horrible. AAAHHHHHHHH Those giant numbers on the front are crazy. The paper is huge and the area of the actual number is only like 30% of the paper. Make them smaller
@@samisauri If you want to go wild, you must visit some remote parts of Russia, my dear. You have small chance to survive there. I have seen about 1/2 of the world.
Beautiful movie, thank you Sami for being an inspiration to many, men and women
Thanks for the love 🙌 Sami is a hero!
I really enjoyed it! There is far too little coverage of things like this. Very nice film! I think I'm in love 🙃Sami, you are my new heroine!
Stoked we could shine a light on this crazy adventure! 🙌
1:18 I Like this shot. At winter nice to see green summer )))
Any chance this was in June 2023? I was on my long run at 8,000ft in upcountry Naivasha and gravel racers were just sending it, around the 7:07 mark.
Wow, what a race! Thanks Sami for taking us along, through ups and (unfortunately) downs.

Awesome video! Sami killed it and top work to the film crew (wearepeny). Inspiring
More race documentaries please :)

This is fantastic work. Cheers to the whole team.
This was amazing! Loved the film and the story! I can relate somewhat as well, love riding my bike and love using my camera, the two combined = 😍
Stunning!
2 thumbs up Sami. Well documented.

Would love to see Sami in Banff on the Tour Divide 2024
What fender are you using?

Sami is up there with lael as one of the best to watch cyclists these days
Crazy that as Sami was being rushed for care from a crash , the ambulance had to winch another truck out of the creek
The Lions being there would give me extreme anxiety. You can’t outpedal them.
ça ressemble plus à un safari d'un autre siècle .
Mha agradat veuret avui, feia temps k et tenia perduda, the conegut pels tatoos, 😉 ens veiem a la traka?

Good film, but it's not wild at all. It's a well-paid parade for a soft people.
Hahahahaha have you been ? 😂

It's a gravel bike race not an escape from soviet gulag...😂
