Thanks Dave, seen a few vids on this already, and yours covered far more and offered some cracking tips! The musical interludes we're especially brilliant too! Keep it up, dead on!
Nice one Dave , I had a 13 plate Fiesta last week for a spring, the drop link did not want to come off , made the phone call , said it was not coming off , a few quid extra for the part , cut the bugger off , new one nice and shiny , silly idea the captive nuts that can spin , as we know , so common on VW cars , and so time consuming to get off , have ground the head off on a few vw cars , new mount and new bolts , job done 👍
Great tutorial, I had one of the 3 top bolts strip it's thread, the manual said 50 NM of torque. 2 held it, think the bolt was just not of the strength or fould on the elliptical hole. The torque is the right number, but seeing you take those out it looks less, any advice greatly received. Keep up the great work, cheers.
"torque police" 🤣 I'm glad it's not just me that doesn't reach for a torque wrench for every single job. I blame the 'merican TH-camrs! 😀 Nice explanation of a simple job Dave. 🙋 High five!

Great video - good to hear you explain the issues we all come across on jobs like this which seem really simple when reading the manual!
Thanks 👍

I wish you would use some gloves. It can’t be good for your skin.
Guess you gotta be a mechanic, business man and a shoulder to cry on when the news is bad for the customer.......
