Idk if you’ve talked about it in another video, but could you please show us how you added the heat bulb inside the inclosure, how hard is it considering the screen top style of these?
Its pretty easy to screw through the screen so thats what we did to install it in the bottom one! You can put a thin piece of wood or something similar on the other side (on top of the enclosure) to screw into!
You can buy fixtures you install yourself pretty easy and jus screw the bulb into those. You can find the fixture and the bulb covers in pack deals sometimes too !! Just Google reptile light fixture or something like that and will pop up
I've had my 4x2x2 for almost a year now. It's been holding up great! I honestly love it and plan to get at least one more to stack. I accidentally put one of the corners on wrong, so the stacking whole is facing outwards on the bottom, but it's no biggie because I put the top on right. Sure, there are better enclosures, but you can't beat the quality for the price!
How many of these could feasibly stack together? I'd like to do the 48x24x18 enclosures but im curious if you think they are sturdy enough to where I could at stack at least 3 together.
You really should, especially if you are planning on keeping a species that needs high humidity! I didn’t because these were meant to be used as displays for my traveling education business, so they very temporarily housed my ball pythons
Greate video, I recently got another 4x2x2 tank as well. I am worried about the top tank bottom collapsing with substrate/clayballs/etc. how is the top tank and what substrate are you using? Thanks!
I havent had any problem with them collapsing! I've done topsoil mixes, reptibark, reptichip, and several other substrates in the different enclosures!
So I was wanting to buy 2 of them to make one large enclosure for my reticulated Python would that be an option when You stack them?if you take the bottom off the top enclosure?
After you added substrate and all the accessories did the bottom bow out at all on the top enclosure? I just bought a different brand and the bottom sags pretty bad
Only a little bit with my larger snakes because of the combination of the heavy water dish, large hides, substrate, and the heavy snake lol! It’s not an enclosure I would use as a permanent one for a large species though anyway. It’s just temporarily holding her while we work on getting the reptile room done up 😁
I have the 4x2x2 and need another 4x2x2 and I was wondering if I get just the 4 inserts to stack the new one on top of the exsisting one with substrate as sand because I have Uromastyx and Chuckwalla. Will that be too heavy with sand? My stand the 4x2x2 is on right now is too tall to use the cabinet spacer, it would make the habitat on top too high.
It really depends on how much substrate and how deep! They only one of mine that droops a tiny big is my boa, but that’s because if her big water dish and her heavy body. My smaller animals in these enclosures aren’t drooping at all
🙏🏼Ive been on the fence about getting one for my hoggies so glad i saw this...How tall is that substrate shield on the 3x18x18 ? Would it hold enough substrate for a hognose to have fun burrowing in?
These look awesome and would love to get one for our leopard gecko. What are your thoughts on using belly heat with a thermostat for the hot spot? Just wonder because the panels do look a little thin in the video.
How do you attach the light on the inside and what bulb guard are you using for it? Have one of the enclosures coming in this week to give them a try and would like to have the heat source inside so i can stack them if i decide to get another
We rigged up a bulb guard on the inside. There was probably a much better way to do it though and that would be a great question for the company lol! 😂
It went to my calabar burrowing python! Once I had them built my primary focus was showing how they stack! I dont remember exactly but I think my calabar didnt go in it for a couple of days because I had to get more substrate.
Idk if you’ve talked about it in another video, but could you please show us how you added the heat bulb inside the inclosure, how hard is it considering the screen top style of these?
Same question! I want these enclosures but I’ve never put lights inside the enclosure rather than on top.

What is your setup for the heat bulb and guard? Links would be helpful :)
I got the guards off craigslist but you can find them all over online! And then we just screwed through the screen to install them!
How many of these could feasibly stack together? I'd like to do the 48x24x18 enclosures but im curious if you think they are sturdy enough to where I could at stack at least 3 together.
3 for sure! I think 3 is the advertised amount.
Hey so idk if u said it in the vid but did u have to silicone to use loose substrate

how did you mount that light on the inside of the enclosure on the bottom @ 8:38
Im not sure how others are doing it, but You can screw through the mesh! Id advise putting a thin piece of wood on the other side to screw into :)

After you added substrate and all the accessories did the bottom bow out at all on the top enclosure? I just bought a different brand and the bottom sags pretty bad
Nope! On my bigger enclosures they are a bit but that’s because I have a huge water dish and heavy hides for a big heavy snakes 😂
I love the set up but what about them not mounted inside ??
You can put the lights on top of the enclosure as well since its a screen top!
Hi 👋🏼 , I’ve seen your first video I have the same concern about the bottom PVC have you had any problems with it sagging?
Only a little bit with my larger snakes because of the combination of the heavy water dish, large hides, substrate, and the heavy snake lol! They are out of stock on the stacking brakets. Thoughts on using floor heat?
It’s not recommended - you can install heating units on the interior tho! It just takes some MacGyvering!
How did you go about attatching the bulb from the inside with a screen top? Wanting to figure out how I will go about heating before I purchase.
You can screw through the screen! A lot of people will put a thin piece of wood on top of the enclosure to screw into!
Also where in ny u from? Im on long island
I'm considering buying the 50 gallon one I just I'm confused about bottom heating and if I should use a heating mat or a heating pad for it
overhead heating works best with these set ups :)
🙏🏼Ive been on the fence about getting one for my hoggies so glad i saw this...How tall is that substrate shield on the 3x18x18 ? Would it hold enough substrate for a hognose to have fun burrowing in?
sorry for the very late response! off the top of my head im not sure how deep, but I would definitely consider it deep enough for a hognose!
dude dont tease a new animal reveal and then take a month! we wanna see it!!!
lol awesome vid and cool enclosures! thanbks for content~!
This video just came out last night lol… it hasn’t even been 24 hours! 🤣
Where did you get the metal cage for the light?
I got them off of craigslist but you can google reptile bulb guards and find some!
These look awesome and would love to get one for our leopard gecko. What are your thoughts on using belly heat with a thermostat for the hot spot? Just wonder because the panels do look a little thin in the video.
I asked them and they said they aren’t ideal for heat mats because it doesn’t penetrate the pvc very well
Gotcha. Thank you for the reply!
How do you attach the light on the inside and what bulb guard are you using for it? Have one of the enclosures coming in this week to give them a try and would like to have the heat source inside so i can stack them if i decide to get another
I just screwed through the screen! You can put a piece of wood on top of the screen to screw into to help keep it secure
How did u do the lighting inside?
We rigged up a bulb guard on the inside. There was probably a much better way to do it though and that would be a great question for the company lol! 😂
think it’ll hold up with a custom background?
I bet it will! Check out Brittiszoo On instagram and tiktok! I think she just recently created a custom background for one!
Is anyway to stack them and make it one big enclosure?
I believe they are working on trying to make something like that happen
Nice!!!!!❤
Thank you!
I just ordered the 33 gallon leopard gecko tank
I hope you are enjoying it!
You forgot to introduce the reptile to the 4x2x1 enclosure.
It went to my calabar burrowing python! Once I had them built my primary focus was showing how they stack! I dont remember exactly but I think my calabar didnt go in it for a couple of days because I had to get more substrate.
Just bought one! Can’t wait hopefully I don’t have the screen burning issue tho since I keep lights on top🥲
I haven’t had the issue! I know they said to definitely avoid it use reptile branded bulbs :)
