THANK YOU FOR POSTING EVERY WEEK. OUR WHOLE FAMILY COMES TOGETHER after church every week, just to watch you. We LOVE YOU, ELLE ❤, KEEP YOU IN OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS 😘JULIE
Elle, thanks for the videos! Enclosure reviews are great but the value is always in the longevity. It's awesome to know these age well considering they're housing animals that live decades.
I'm trying the new Ecoflex for a stepping stone while my snakes are growing, but I bought my son one of these and he loves it. As does his beardie! I may have to get these eventually though ❤
I’m putting a baby king snake in this same enclosure do you have a video on the door part using the windshield wiper thing? I’m afraid she might escape now!
When the company first contacted me a couple of years ago, I was excited but really didn't expect to love the enclosure as much as I did/do. They're really such a good deal 😍
Elle we have been watching your videos and wanting to get a bearded dragon. We have a dresser we want to convert in to an enclosure but the dimensions are 4ft 9 by 2ft deep by 17 inches wide. Is that 17 inches too far from 24?
I dont think so at all - especially with it being over 4 ft long. That extra 9 inches makes up for the 7 you're losing width wise in terms of floor space. 💜
i have a new bearded for the first time and have picked him up gently by his side once or twice in the past all i want to know is could i have broken any of his ribs from the few times ive picked him up like that please help ??? and if so how do i tell??
Can you share what you used for the windshield wiper blades and how you installed them? I have a tiny hognose and someday want to get him a bigger tank but worry about him escaping. Thanks for making this!
They're just the little plastic protector pieces off of windshield wipers when you buy the windshield wipers from the store (usually you'd just throw them away). They're thin plastic so they're super easy to cut down to size with normal scissors, and they just slide right over the side of the glass/acrylic
We looked at doing our reptile room with these, bought one to check quality. The best thing is the hammer, other then that I have no pros when you can spend a little more and get a custom reptile habitats enclosure and get 10 times the value.
What is you lighting set up of this enclose and what size is your hognose in? I bought a larger enclosure for my hognose and she’s also taking forever to go so it’s just not housing anything right now
Hi I am your subscriber. Hope you are doing well. I am from india and I am going to get a new ball python, I am a little confused about the temperature. Here in india the room temperature is somewhere around 30 to 35 degrees celcius which is 90 degrees Fahrenheit do we need to have a heating elememt such as a heat pad, ceramic heater or a heating bulb . Or is it fine to leave it in the enclosure without any heating element ? Need your suggestions here mate . Hoping for the response.
I also built this and didn’t put the bars in until after the top was on. A) Installing them was not a you problem and b) put them on before putting the top on for the love of God. Otherwise we’ve had it a year and it’s been great.
Some research should be done as there are several cases of these enclosures actually killing animals by their design alone. Leopard geckos have been stuck between the sliding door and the substrate barrier and found dead. Bearded dragons pushing out the cord vents and getting stuck and breaking ribs and dying. We had several bit have since sold them all. Spend $25 more and get a better enclosure, your animal will be alive and happier because of it.
The new version does have a deeper substrate area and glass doors. I have 2 now and love them
Very good to know! Thanks for confirming 😊
@@ellesreptiles you're welcome

@reptiletailz108 no unless you are going to go bioactive and will have it very damp. If you do then it's a good idea to silicone it.

Thank you so much for watching the videos! I'm trying to get back into the every week routine! 🥰
Love having your videos to look forward to on Sundays. We all need money saving tips so we can save money to buy MORE stuff lol. Have a great week!
Haha very true. Thank you!!! 🥰
Your videos are so helpful! Getting my beardie soon so watching you has given me so many helpful tips! Thanks! 💜
Oh awesome! Early congrats on your new beardie!!! 🎉

Yes!!
Definitely agree - any time I buy anything big, I always want to know if that thing lasts. So I thought people might want to know about the tanks haha
So I'm late Elle but wanted to just say hope your week is amazing!!!

I have 8 dubia tanks. I love them all!
They're so nice and you really REALLY can't beat that price 😍
Thanks for these videos! It is really helpfull to see how they hold up.
This is really helpful to know about!
Would a ball python be able to slide the doors open? Any suggestions on securing them closed?
The doors are glass now, so no scratchy scratch also the 2 bars in the lid mesh now come pre installed from the factory so no more fight there
Cool update. You have provided the information earlier. How are you feeling?
Thanks I’ve been looking at one to upgrade my son’s bearded dragon.

Bruh I miss read this as “are dubia roaches enclosures WORTH it “ and saw the picture and was dang that’s a nice tank for a roach.. 😂
We have a 4x2x1 from them & loved it so much we ordered all our 4x2x2s from them
When the company first contacted me a couple of years ago, I was excited but really didn't expect to love the enclosure as much as I did/do. They're really such a good deal 😍
Where did you get the background?
Would you recommend it for blue tongue skink or a baby ackie if you expand it ?
what light bulb do you use

I'm a planner, so looking at options for when my hognose is bigger.
So they do a good job of keeping snakes in, so they can't get out?
Excellent video. What speces of snakes or lizards could spend their lives in a tank this size?
We looked at doing our reptile room with these, bought one to check quality.

Looking into getting one myself.. where can you get better ? Site plz thank you willing to pay more for better
@prtbone78 the eco 40 from custom reptile habitats was $20 more for 10 times the enclosure when we did ours.
Haven't priced them lately though.
@DomesticDinos copy ill look into it thanks is the 40 the gallon size or just a number they threw on it
What is you lighting set up of this enclose and what size is your hognose in? I bought a larger enclosure for my hognose and she’s also taking forever to go so it’s just not housing anything right now
Did you do anything like silicone it to hold in moisture/substrate? I just got one and I'm trying to decide which pet to upgrade to it.

@Elle would you recommend for leo, she's amall adult.
This would be so much room for a leo - she'd love it!
Happy hammer moment 😂

😂 glad you got them installed, and glad you still like the tank!

Thanks for the info... what better one do you recommend? Also if bearded dragons push through the whole than maybe one should silicone around it ?
