- We visit Greensboro Mulch ran by the Kelly Brothers to see their successful mulch business. Its always good to see others operations and learn from them. We're looking into an Edge colorizer to speed up our mulch coloring process. @EDGEInnovate

Great video. As someone that is relatively new into the lumber industry and recycling it’s great to see and understand these operations and how they work.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks 👍
Cool tour! There's always something to learn and improve, no matter what field you're in.
Always!
Great field trip video these are so cool to see how everyone else does it
I agree
Hello I have operate for 3 years the Sahara from colorbiotic and have all scale, control on water and paint and you can look on your computer production and formulas expensive but great equipment
Thanks for sharing!
I live about 30 min from there. I know that place well and the employees. The sand comes from Dan River. There mulch goes all the way to Ohio too. Chris Kelly got it going on
They do have it going on!
Wow, the size of your operations in the USA is huge compared to us in the UK. Doesn't the sand play havoc with every machine you run it through? Interesting how different areas favour different colour mulches. Colours not big over here. Great video
So many different colors and preferences
I’m amazes at how I find your channel so interesting. The slide was just a fun video series, but, now I am.learning about products I have purchased for years and never though5 about the manufacturing process.
Awesome! Thank you!
Cool tour! My dad did demolition around the country and I got to visit him taking down part of a paper will in Alabama. They make longer lifts so the person doesn’t have to unhook the trailer from the truck it picks the whole thing up. Might be faster to go that route.
Good point
My waste area takes grass clippings and leaves, compost that stuff and makes a killing in the spring. 😊 they also do wood chips plus pulverized concrete.
I was really surprised to see how much paper product they'll add to the compost instead of throwing it out. 😮
👍👍
These fellas got nothing on you and your crew, Tyler spoke like he was ready for a change of scenery! You’re the man, keep it up boss!
Appreciate that
@@TheRealMrDiGG Excellent video but I was hoping we would see their Shredder
Did ya get some good Pit cooked vinegar NC BBQ?
Unfortunately not on this trip buddy 😞
Fascinating to watch how commercial product is made, compared to my own production 4-5 cubic yards of compost & path mulch a year to meet my garden's needs.
It is cool to see some of these big operations 👍👍
my husband loves watching your videos and of course i started following in the slip in slide journey! as we were watching this video,we both dropped our jaws because you were 8 minutes from our home at the mulch yard! those guys definitely know what they are doing and get our business every time we have a job to do! keep up the great content and if we are ever that way, i definitely want to go to your Garden Center! -James and Candise Lawrence Brown Summit NC
That is awesome!
You ever checked out MSI in Blacksburg, SC
Never heard of them?!
@@TheRealMrDiGG big mulch yard. They make all their own. Pretty big outfit for sure. Guy who used to own it owned MBI too. Which was a big time clearing company all over the southeast
Glad you got to visit Greensboro Ryan !!
You were about 10-12 minutes away from me at Greensboro Mulch
That’s where’s I get all my. Mulch
Great Video as always!!
Thanks buddy
Hey Greensboro mulch. That’s the farm Right down the road from me.
Awesome place
Awesome video. My family has a mulch business Grant County Mulch. I'm not associated personally with it. I've been around the equipment some and he runs some of the same equipment. Coming from. The excavation side it's amazing what it takes to make some simple looking Mulch.
Thanks for sharing!
Mr Digg, I think you're bank account is about to hammered worse than a second hand nail 😅😅😅
Thanks for the video buddy
I agree, it’s freaking me out! 😬
The mulch guy is all business and seems to know his! He would have to let go quite a few clowning folks on other TH-cam channels. I can think of a farming channel. Well done
He knows his stuff!
You Americans don't mind a little trip of 4 hours or more, never mind the return trip 😮 you love to drive.
Love your videos, you are such a down to earth cool guy, hat off to you Sir.
I really appreciate this!
That bunch has it going on, Ryan, you're going to have to make a major upgrade. Good video man, have a good one buddy
Thanks, you too!
Great video. It is powerful to share ideas among like businesses.
We agree!
Pine fines a nursery growers best friend
👍👍
👍👍Getting enough raw material must be a worry for them sometimes, thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for watching
Presumably you’d buy an electric version over the oil burner?
Electric would be cool
9:56 they make some great color mulch. I use it on my property
Great operation
What an operation this Greensboro Mulch is. Tobacco processing fails, go mulch, brilliant! Very efficient, good idea Digg checking this out. Like this video, this guys knows a lot and willing to share. If he could only do on site You Tube, that would be a winner. He's probably way to busy for that. Good work Digg.
Thanks 👍
Great tour. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Have you double processed the hemlock mulch, barks uet? Of not,get to it,your loosing money. Mulch is designed to keep moisture around your trees or plants. It isn't designed to keep weeds down. Therefore, the finer you chew it up, the more moisture it holds.I've been in landscaping all my life and I'm correct.Try to prove me wrong
we dont have Hemlocks around here
Enjoyed the video as always
Glad to hear it buddy
Very nice operation there.
Yes it was!
thanks for sharing 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you too
Good stuff..!! 🍻
Thank you! Cheers!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸

Hi mr Digg. 👍👍👍😀Cheers
🖐 🍻
Great video!
Thanks!
Stepping up the game.
Trying
Great tour 😊
Glad you enjoyed
Dyed mulch is the worst, and I wish it wasn't a thing.Does that dye hurt the soil, plants or trees? That's right, nobody knows.use hemlock bark, and there is no reason, or need to dye.Not a fan,not watching, just to comment my hate for fake mulch, it's bs
thanks for watching! dye is non toxic, check out my other channel grass roots gardening
you'll have to get yourself invited to do a factory tour of all those manufactures in Northern Ireland as they are all within 15miles of each other. Just let on your going to buy a new machine.
I would LOVE that!!!
cool stuff
👍👍
🙂
👍👍🍻
What's up Ryan
Hey Buddy!!
good video
Thanks
So I get it,yall make mulch out of pallets? That's bs,BARK is made into mulch, not pallets. I'm not a fan,and glad vermont uses real bark,to make bark mulch. The dye, also makes moisture not penatrait the wood to keep the soil moist, witch is the main reason for mulch, not a weed blocker. You guys have it all wrong
thanks for watching
@user-rt8ik1ow4i Do you have your own mulch operation? If not, get to it, you’re losing money telling people what to do on TH-cam.
yes
