Another one of my favorite plays of him was also in the rosh pit. He is playing Prophet against PSG.LGD and the way that he kept Kunkka out of the fight is so underrated. Everyone was looking at Ana but I was looking at N0tail.
My favourite play will always be n0tail dying radiant bot lane on chen but then he sends his creep to the dire creep wave and pulls the wave all the way mid for alchemist to farm it while dire couldn't take the tier 1 tower because there were no creeps.
My favorite N0tail play was way back in the days when his team ganked a Slark on topside jungle (right beside that camp that offlane players make pulls) and when Slark tried to jump for the river, n0tail was there bodyblocking the jump, stopping Slark's escape and his team took the kill. This simple and quick thinking made me his fan.
my favourite one was his chen play in ti9 og vs lgd game 3, when lgd tried taking his bot t1 radiant tower and not only did he use the creeps to stop the push, he dragged the entire dire creep wave to ana's alchemist and accelerated his farm
so much had to happen at precisely the right time for this to work. It's amazing how complex all these little things are, which most never even notice because of the pace of the game.
people so underappreciate notail's contributions to the ti8 run. in most games he was respect-banned in first phase while most teams were banning cores. he had many clutch plays despite being heavily sacrificial as well
Greatest play: when he took the elevator up a floor with us because me and my buddy exited a floor too early heading up as we were staying on the same hotel as all the players at ESL Frankfurt 2014. What a lad :D
@@viktorisaksson7573 yes and why did he time it perfectly for the last hit on rosh? because he knew storm would come at the last hit moment for snatch. saying he timed it perfectly for storm is still the correct statement
@@Aycheffe I don't think a "correct" statement matters. They would use meteor hammer at that moment, regardless if storm jumps or not. That's just how you play dota.
Watching this I thought it was just a bad play from LGD and good timing on the echo. How many other players would know that canceling the ET stomp was worth everything in that situation? Ruined their setup so fast we didn't even know it existed.
watching this series live was amazing, and the first time most didn't even pay attentio to notail canceling et's stom, and if he hadn't done that, all the play would have been a total win for lgd (because the gammer and the echo slam would have never been used)
@@gambit857 most likely yes. his game sense isn't as sharp as jerax; but definitely a good captain which translates to a good coach. puppey is trying to be both at the same time.
I never put my attention to here winter curse here before, but now I think, yes, notail win the fight here And also storm is caught in vision because of winter right ? So jerax get his 2 man echo easier
Lower bracket? Simply more practice games ;)
GL for tonight OG gang!
Never over till it's over! It's MAH~wrong discipline.
If guys will show that they deserve to win, Aegis will be back in their hands.
OG won against QC

He baited the echo slam at the rosh pit.
He held off LGD's highest networth hero inside the pit for soo long. Truly clutch
Yea, I was watching his pov, kunkka was definitely worthless during that fight.
Agreed. Most people don't see this.
Ikr, that play from Notail is out of this world. But everyone is seeing ana for his buyback
I didn’t even realize he did that to prevent ET’s setup for the Aegis Steal
Also Ceb's meteor hammer and jerax's fissure. OG's got failsafes all over this play, that's why it is called teamwork.
Life of a good support
The coordination is so sick I wouldn't have caught it all without his explanation. Greatest team of all times.

Crazy how I can still remember that one simple-but-genous play.
"I cancelled this guy's stun"
*Points to a thunderhide*

I just hope they play together for 1 more TI.
N0tail, JerAx, ana, Topson and Ceb.
Watching these guys play was like gold.
Dunno about ceb considering he got a problem with his eye health, but those 4 are still there.
oh wow i just noticed it, notail uses ult to cancel the ET stun and the rest is history!
I remember it live and there where people who saw n0tail's play and recognized it but far more who missed it. Dota is just amazing.
I was in the stadium and gotta say I missed it!

Notail is a No.1 Esport millionaire followed by jerax, ana, ceb and topson.
Back to back Ti.. and owning the team themselves instead of joining an organization, helps.
even though my favourite play is his illusion rune deny with 1 single chen creep from ti9 is my favourite still great insight
people so underappreciate notail's contributions to the ti8 run. in most games he was respect-banned in first phase while most teams were banning cores. he had many clutch plays despite being heavily sacrificial as well
The timings of each of their spells was pog
that is truly next level play

everyone talking about Jerax's ES ult, but it was Notail's that made all the difference!
Doesnt matter meme hammer was also there just in case
@@aldrinmercado3475 ceb would have been stuned by the ET spell area. The meme hammer wouldnt have worked.
xD that meteor hammer timing perfectly for Storm Spirit, LGD has high percentage to get the aegis if they didnt stop Storm and Elder's ULT
The timing for hammer is based on rosh hp. Storm can only pick up aegis as rs dies

I bet Notail can comeback in recent years and claim 3rd TI maybe with a young roster.
Or maybe he will win his 3rd TI as a coach.

lol Notail trying to explain Dota to civilians. lol Ana timed the meteor hammer perfectly, storm has a strong jump lol
bruh i thought jerax was in the pit waiting for storm to jump. i didnt realize he was blinking in. wtf.
lmao bro pro players are on a whole other level hahahaha
Uncle N0tail is here!
how did they gave away the rosh with ET/BS and storm :D beginnings of PTSD.LGD
