Just discovered JLD’s podcast “Wiser Than Me”. She interviews lovely women (actors, writers , dancers, etc.) who are older and wiser. It’s a must-listen for women of a certain age. ❤

It's still illegal at the Federal level, though.
It is incredibly boring being around people who are stoned - been at many "parties" in my youth where I was the only one NOT stoned. It was painful.

JLD actually was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1983 and 1985 (though most wouldn't know, because seasons 8 and 9 were when Eddie Murphy and Joe Piscopo were hogging the spotlight). Her husband, Brad Hall, was also in that cast, but they didn't get married until 1987.

Nearly a million people live in Amsterdam, excluding Tourists. There are more reasons to be in Amsterdam (culture, civilized country, art (Rembrandt), sound environmental policies. They are trying to reduce the areas where pot-smoking occurred. A lot-probably most-of residents would rather it wasnt a target location for toursts there for pot

I've thought about this before but always get stuck on who the host and captains would be. We would have no shortage of good guests here, but Rob, David, and Lee are essential to that show imo so those choices would be critical.

Drinking is a nightmare you full agreed to participate in.
Can you believe it? Anne Frank comes into the bookshop and says, “So you know how the city of Geneva is as sterile as an infectious disease’s lab and as empty of life as a cardboard box because it sold its soul to the Nazis? Well I’d like a book on the ethics and morality of Swiss bankers.” So I get out a book and open it but it’s all blank pages, and Anne says, “That’s ok. I’ll use it as a diary” and she buys it and walks out of the shop, but then I think I’d like her autograph so I go out into the street but the street is empty…strange. And whaddya know…a kid from the Bronx High School of Science comes into the bookshop and says, “Hey mister…I want a book that shows me how to make $10 million a month for when I leave school.” And I say, young man…I have just the book for you. It’s a compilation of authors in chapters telling the reader how they did just that. Ch. 1 is by Connor McGregor entitled ‘How to legally beat people up and not in a bad drug deal and make $10 million a month’. Ch.2 is by Blake Snell. ‘How to make your $10 million a month by throwing a little white ball about 15 feet really fast.’ Ch.3 is by Tom Brady. ‘How to make your $10 million a month by throwing an oval leather ball around a grassed area for a few hours a week…rudely’. Ch. 4 is by Jared Kushner. ‘How to make $10 million a month by being that evil little boy from the movie The Omen but grown up and scamming the USA and Saudi Arabia’. Ch.5 is by a nurse from Detroit. ‘How to make $10k a month by working 24 hrs a day 7 days a week until your legs fall off and your eyes fall out’. But the kid is half way out the door and a no sale…again…
Impressed that she has had the spine and intelligence to push back against Seinfeld’s (another white male in denial) stance that “political correctness” means no more comedy. He misses “male domination.” Ya, Seinfeld, if your comedy consists of mocking other people. The guy who “dated” a high schooler when he was 40-something. Kudos to Julia.
If it were not for Jerry Seinfeld, no one would know who Julia Louis-Dreyfus is. Jerry is a jerk for making fun of people's appearances as comedy, but there are tons of chauvinistic men, not just "white men". That's a very narrow-minded view.

As an avid jackal and fan of the show. I notice td ere is definitely an age cutoff, that do or don’t take Seth’s hand. He always offers the hand to go up the couple of stairs at his desk. Women under 40 rarely take the hand. Just something I noticed.

It's only certain strains of weed that cause paranoia. Mainly "Skunk", which happens to be in the genetics of many other strains, but if you can avoid it, you can avoid the paranoia. A lot of cannabis shops carry strains that are specifically devoid of the Skunk strain on the West Coast. Hopefully the rest of the country will catch on.
