My brother worked at a theatre back in the 80s and i got in for free-this movie was one of our faves. The band intro is classic: “And now for your listening endurement, Madame Woo Woo is ashamed to present Ivy and the Shitty Rainbows.”
Lmfao. 37 years old now but use to watch this ALL the time when I was little. I had vhs tapes that had like this, all the Cheech and Chong movies, the first two Texas Chainsaw Massacres, Scarface, Freddy and throw in some Burtons Batman and Beetlejuice. Lil bit of Weird Science, Howard the Duck and Goonies. *sighs....good times. Dont forget the Big Trouble in little China
So you're the guy who stole our vhs collection? lol This was one of my favorite movies as a kid too. Funny the stuff our parents would let us watch back then...and what makes it funnier is when we started figuring out some of the things that were going on in our old favorites back then 🤣
The actor who gets run off from his seat by Mr. Hyde played the car customer who gets lured across the highway from Roy Fuchs' car lot by Kurt Russell in "Used Cars".
Fun Fact: This movie exists thanks to Michael Eisner (former Disney CEO) who was head of Paramount studios @ the time! Read up on the history of how it all transpired, cause it’s WAY too long to explain here…😆
This movie helped sculpt my entire adulthood! Cult classic!

I bought the DVD. And I have to see it periodically. It would be nice to see a remake. It's a cult classic.
It's great to see an Arcade in a movie since there such a thing of the past. And the movie Joysticks brought back so many Arcade memories too.
