Ok I have learned so much about electricity today!!! I have finished the Teresa Kogut stitch and I have finished the Good ships, and wood ships etc. I need to get Good Ships framed. Can’t wait to see you both in a FEW DAYS!!!! I love that Pam is also doing the Lighthouse!!!
You two are such good medicine !!! I look forward to learning and laughing with each episode!! Hope you have amazing experiences during all your adventures, Stitch Con, baseball games and birthday bash!! You give so much to this community!! Have fun fun fun !!
Yes, I remember those stormy days when mom would unplug everything, cover the windows, mirrors, couldn’t take showers… Steph your work on the United We Stand book is amazing. I love the fabric you choose for it. Pam that Halloween Hijinx is a challenge.
Hi ladies! I’m doing a bit of flosstube catch-up today and I just want to drop a line to say congrats on 7 years of flosstube! Thanks for making this space a fun and welcoming place; I can’t imagine flosstube without you. ❤❤ -Leah Noel
Gotta be honest ,I'm a little sore I missed a chance for the Freedom bundle. That was epic ! 😍 I was watching your video from last week throughout the week and finished it this morning , a day late to try for it. Haha! I went , "Oh crap!" 🤣 Steph cracked me up specifying she did not say, "Why in heaven's name..." 🤣 Congratulations on your 7 year anniversary, ladies! You are trailblazers and so valued. ❤ And , yes , those crabs are beautiful. 🦀🦀🦀
I'm so looking forward to your Nutcracker SAL in July! I received my hard copy of the pattern this week, and my fabric is on the way! Have fun at StitchCon and your Birthday/Baseball weekend, and we'll see you back the last weekend of June. Cya next week for your last pre-events Flosstube!
While watching you every week I always think of things to say to the both of you (all good, I promise), because I watch you on my TV, I can not comment until I go to my IPad, by the time that happens I can’t remember what I wanted to say (due to my brain dumps every 5 minutes). I will say I look forward every Sunday evening to watching you, I laugh every time. You bring memories of my Mother and I when we spent time together. Thank you for all the laughs and fun you create for all of the Stitchers.
I do remember unplugging the TV in storms when I was young! Thankfully we didn’t have too many bad storms! Steph, Clustered Stars looks beautiful!! Pam, of course always amazes me with beautiful stitching! The Halloween Hijinx is so cute! You are amazing keeping up with WIPGO and all of the SALs you are doing! I hope to take a look at the Nutcracker and just might have to stitch it along with you! When my son was in high school in the late 90’s we took a group of Boy Scouts from his troop to Washington DC to fulfill the Citizenship in the Nation merit badge. We went and saw the changing of the guard at Arlington National Cemetery, and found it profoundly moving! I hope to visit again someday! I am getting vey excited to see you both at Weekend A!
Another great video! I had to stop and go online to finally a farm girl and IMMEDIATELY order Dear Soldier! My dad was in WW2. He was very proud of his service. He was at Normandy. He was awarded many medals. I will be stitching this with his info. Memorial Day has special meaning.
I love your videos. My father served in the Philippines during WW2. I loved that pattern in memoriam of the soldiers, sailors, airmen, etc. thanks for showing them. See you soon.
Hi friends! So good to see you and ooh and aah over your stitchy progress 😍 Your disclaimer about your cats made me laugh this morning, too 😹 I hope you have a great start to your week after a relaxing long weekend! See you soon! 💜
Thank you for another great video! I started stitching Dear Soldier this Memorial Day morning while watching you. It’s a great chart and will honor my family members who served, starting with the Revolutionary War all the way through the Vietnam War. I’m plan to put their names on the back after framing it. Stay safe, stay silly and most of all, never change!
Glad the weather cleared up and there was no loss of power for y'all. I am in a suburb of New Orleans and power outages are common in the summer months. For Katrina I was out of power for over a month. We were not even allowed to come in our parish for over a month. I will look forward to seeing Mac next week. I totally understand the personality he has. My cat Layla is exactly the same. If a box comes in the house you have to move her to open it. When you open the first flap she is trying to crawl in the box. When you do get it open, she is on top whatever is in it. She always has a box on the living room floor to play in. Gotta love them!
So happy you got your crabs in! Great video! Exquisite stitching! You gals make my Sunday’s! Thanks for always sharing with us! She happy you have your Mom’s back, Steph! Been then we know your Mom has yours too! Have a great Memorial Day!🎉❤
OMG!!! 😳 How am I to get through 3 weeks of no Pam & Steph?! Will be missing you and might have to go watch some earlier episodes which I’ve not seen! 🎉
Your story about lightening and unplugging the tv brought back a memory for me. I remember a Sunday morning being woke up by my dad yelling up the stairs for my brother and I to get up. Lightening had struck our house antenna and the tv was smoking and had flames coming out of it. Luckily no one was hurt and our home had no damage as my dad was able to unplug the tv and stop the flames.
Congrats to the winners of those amazing patterns! Very generous of you! We sure will miss you but sounds like you have a fabulous month coming up... enjoy!
Excited to see you ladies in just a few days! I’m so happy you received your package. Thank you for your kind comments about my patterns. So glad you love! Hugs
Oh my goodness y’all always make me giggle. And I too absolutely love the Dear Soldier pattern. I will probably buy the PDF today and start it on memorial day. I have many in my family who have served including my dad and my husband. My dad‘s jet is even in the Air Force Museum at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Hope to get to Stitch Con one of these years. And it was great meeting Steph when my daughter and I visited the store earlier this year. Hope to get back soon.😊
Ladies! 😊Im so honored to be your Silver Shoutout this week🩵I appreciate the nice things you said about me and my flosstube. Thank you for encouraging others to come and visit me☺️ so I better go get another flosstube recored Pam!! 😉 Love you two ladies!! See yall in a couple of weeks! ❤️🤍💙
I forgot to say it last week. Congratulations on seven years of flosstube! You two are a joy to watch with each new episode. Your stitching is beautiful. You make it seem like I'm not quite so far from Ohio every week as I tune in, which is a great thing since I've been on the opposite side of the country for too long. Mom just got her electric back on there a couple days ago and said there were more storms heading to her house today. Stay safe! Can't wait to come out for Stitchcon and visit with family and friends.
Dang it! I ALMOST made it through a JKS video without snort laughing…and then, “Sorry if I offended anyone, it just came out ok. I say it all the time…at least it wasn’t the F word.” That started the tears and laughing, but at least I didn’t spit out my coffee!!!! Y’all are the best. We will miss you here, but I can’t wait to see you at weekend B!!! Enjoy the much deserved time off, and happy baseball birthday weekend!!!,
If a storm was coming in 60s or 70s my grandparents went to "the cave". It was a root cellar into a hill away from the house. There was a flashlight and candles and lots of food storage. There were several chairs and you sat out the storm in there. Frequent occurrence in summer.
Thank you for sharing some of these patterns. My dad passed away, unexpectedly, almost a year ago in July (which was also his birth month. I’ve been looking for something to stitch in July to honor and remember him. He was a proud Navy man, so this will be happening
...by Godfrey, I just have to pause the video (watching on Monday) to tell Pam that when she said she would do the Carol Manning Halloween Hi Jinx SAL "row by row," my mind (which is only a teeny bit older than Pam's) started playing an old tune in my head, probably from the 60's, called "Inch by Inch..." But my mind supplied new words: "Stitch by stitch, row by row, I'm gonna make my project grow..."🎵🎶🎹 I'm not lying; my mind really went there. And now it is an ear worm....
Looking forward to seeing what you put on your three week SAL stitch rotation, Pam. The Olympic one with Stephanie should definitely go on. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my goodness, you found the William Morris book I have! 🐇 My Mum's maiden name is the Dutch word for rabbit - konijn - so I used that to narrow down which of the many gorgeous projects to start from that book! I also have a tapestry in progress, based on a cushion by William Morris, which I am stitching on canvas with tapestry wool. Enjoy! 😊
Thanks again for another great video ladies. You forgot the second half of the cat saying, "curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back." That is why they have those 8 extra lives.
Thank you for another fun after-work (for me) video! I’m really getting excited for my first stitch con! Can’t wait to see you on Weekend B. Oh also, I loved the whale chart to benefit the species. I’ll be getting that one so thank you for sharing it! 😊
When it's storming, I unplug my laptop, and my cell phone if it's on charge. I'm excited to see all of the Stitch-Con videos! I'd gladly volunteer to help ya'll if I lived nearby.
Love that you have a William Morris valance in your kitchen ... if it the image from the book matches that is called Strawberry Thief ... which is the pattern on the fabrics of our spare bedroom ( you know curtains, lamp shades, and duvet set)...
Hi Pam and Steph, nice wips. I have the blackbird booklet that your needle book is from Steph. I like the pin cushion. It’s in my stash. Not yet kitted. I could hear milkshake sneezing. Sounded like a human sneeze. That was loud. I like all of the nautical wips Pam. Have a great week. TTFN
Hello ladies! So good to see you. We just got a tornado warning on our phones for here in London, Ontario, Canada. Eek! Steph, we hope to visit Keepsakes on June 10th or 11th. I can hardly wait for my first time at the Mecca of cross stitch!!!
In California we have rolling black outs. In the hot summer different areas we lose their electricity for a few hours. Sorry I'm late to the party, I was on an 8 day cruise so I unplugged . Sun and stitched.
I still unplug the TV's, the computers, the modem and remove Ethernet cables from devices during electrical storms, as recently as midnight a few days ago!
I have been to Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and it is so moving. It was in 68, saw Bobby Kennedy’s train going to Arlington. Very rough year as my mom had just died and I was 14. Sad about the whales.😢
Yes and no...they're not the exact same fabric, but Murano is a variety of Lugana. Lugana, in all it's various forms (Murano and Brittany are two examples) is made by Zweigart. The minor differences in the varieties is based on the materials used in the fabric threads. But generally speaking, it's all evenweave. Hope that helps!! 🙂
My mother still pulls the plugs on everything whether there is a storm coming or not…wow it is hard to charge the hearing aids if the plug is being pulled every night. She still has black electrical tape covering the camera on her laptop too.
Our grand cat has asthma. She has an inhaler that she uses twice a day. Well if truth be told, her human uses it on her. Easy and really helps with her breathing. Hope Milks is ok.
As a veterinary professional I can tell you that orange cats have one brain cell, and they have to share it with all the other orange cats. I speak from experience. We too have an orange cat. His name is Ziggy, and I think he a Macaroni may be brothers from another mother. However, Ziggy has thumbs! He’s polydactyl and I sometimes think he’s going to figure out how to get into even more trouble by employing those thumbs. Please enjoy your well-deserved break from Flosstube. We will miss you, but I hope to meet you at Stitch-Con weekend B and get a pic with Pam and our courage SALs at the brag table. My mom who I did the SAL in honor of will be with me.
Today we learned about whales, Arlington Cemetery and electricity. This is better than grad school.

During bad storms, Mom used to unplug the TV, no talking on the landline phone nor take a shower. Back to watching!!!
That was what we did too!
Yes! We did that also.
Same at my house. Couldn't do dishes either.
The phone and shower! I still won’t let anyone shower during a thunderstorm.
Same at my house. My aunt was in the shower and was hit by lightning. She was a very large woman so wasn't killed. Most people had wells at that time.
Gotta be honest ,I'm a little sore I missed a chance for the Freedom bundle. That was epic ! 😍 I was watching your video from last week throughout the week and finished it this morning , a day late to try for it. Haha! I went , "Oh crap!" 🤣

Another wonderful floss tube, beautiful stitching and great entertainment

Yes we unplugged the TV!! And then in later years, all the PCs.
Hello ladies! So good to see you. We just got a tornado warning on our phones for here in London, Ontario, Canada. Eek! Steph, we hope to visit Keepsakes on June 10th or 11th. I can hardly wait for my first time at the Mecca of cross stitch!!!
My parents would unplug and not let us kids do anything 😅. Beautiful stitching, ladies. See you at the weekend A.
In California we have rolling black outs. In the hot summer different areas we lose their electricity for a few hours. Sorry I'm late to the party, I was on an 8 day cruise so I unplugged . Sun and stitched.
Yes! Unplug the television, don’t use the telephone, don’t take a shower or do dishes.
I will make it to stitch con one year I hope
I still unplug the TV's, the computers, the modem and remove Ethernet cables from devices during electrical storms, as recently as midnight a few days ago!
I could actually follow along with that math! Cause despite my ability to count cross stitches I have never been good with Math! Lol 😂
I like baseball too. Go Royals!!!
HI LADIES HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY
I have been to Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and it is so moving. It was in 68, saw Bobby Kennedy’s train going to Arlington. Very rough year as my mom had just died and I was 14.
Sad about the whales.😢
I have developed some vision problems and dropping back from linen. Is murano and lugano the same fabric by zwigert?
Yes and no...they're not the exact same fabric, but Murano is a variety of Lugana. Lugana, in all it's various forms (Murano and Brittany are two examples) is made by Zweigart. @@JustKeepStitchin thanks, think I got it...about like I got geometry LOLOL
Hello friends. we had tornado warnings and I'm just now getting to tune in. Hope everyone is doing great.
My mother still pulls the plugs on everything whether there is a storm coming or not…wow it is hard to charge the hearing aids if the plug is being pulled every night. She still has black electrical tape covering the camera on her laptop too.
Halloween Hijinx ❤️ it!
I thought the recent whale count is down to 200! 😢🐳 It's very tragic & heartbreaking. On a happier note I like the lighthouse chart you showed.
Kimberly Jolly at Fat Quarter Shop has several gingham cross stitch fabrics in various colored and counts.
Yes, I found those. Definitely an option.
Our grand cat has asthma. She has an inhaler that she uses twice a day. Well if truth be told, her human uses it on her. Easy and really helps with her breathing.

Cats are too cute
Love your floss tube! I would like to know what the sampler on the wall is that has the sheep on the bottom. Thank You
Checkered Sheep by Shepherd's Bush
Let sleeping cats lie during Flosstube filming. Even more important than for dogs. Max sleeping while I'm watching tonight.
Perfect timing, HI
Very stormy here in NC
❤❤❤
😁
Maybe Mac is a Flerken!!! 😝
Which came first, the "SAL" that is just a hashtag and everyone works on the same one project? Or the "SAL" that is metered out parts of a whole?
The former. The sectioning is a great new trend in SALs.
@@JustKeepStitchin That's so interesting! I found the latter way before the former! Thank you!!! :)
Will Keepsakes be open on Monday 24th June at all pls ?
yes
